Hate Microsoft for buying Bethesda out , but maybe they can push them to bring ES and Starfield in a better quality as they wont be stressed for money , hoping for some Xcom love from Firaxis as well!!! all in all , i am fed up with mulitplayer games and hoping for some cool single players stuff , but as most of the money is in multiplayer live service i will probaby be disappointed.

Im not happy nor sad (i do own an xbox series x) but i think, MAYBE, the extra resources from MS might end up making them having better quality control, who knows.
Fireaxis is supposedly showing a Marvel x XCOM game (xcom gameplay in marvel universe)

XCom gameplay in Marvel universe sounds interesting.
I'm glad we're getting some developers are keeping some niche genres alive on console/PC. Don't want them to all move to mobile.

Honestly smartphones are the ones that are incredibly expensive, but for some reason everyone still needs a Samsung galaxy or Iphone for a price for which you could get a home system, so might as well use that way overpriced hardware with next to no application as a console so it finally does something.
Really depends on the target group overall imo, a lot of adults I know don't have a problem paying 1.5-2k for a gaming pc, they lack the time to search for games and play, not the money. Smartphone gaming is gigantic in eastern Asia, but way smaller in the western market.
Cloud gaming technology has been tried a lot and still isn't here apparently, stadia doesn't seem to be doing too hot from what I've been reading. Feels a bit like nuclear fusion, we all know it's coming eventually, but every few years we see a prototype that showcases that it's not really here yet. Given, we are likely to see functioning cloud gaming before fusion, long term you are likely right, but currently it's not there yet and I doubt that's going to change within the next 5 years.
Also imo a large selling point of AAA games like cyberpunk2077 are graphics and sounds and playing on low resolution on a smartphone makes that kinda moot.

It makes no sense to cater to the streaming market yet if you are a game developer , most of the world doesn't not have a good enough internet to play the games even close to "best experience" , but the thing is that the folks who are incharged of the SW are also the ones who are making the HW and the API`s to build the games AND they buy big studios non stop , so they (Microsoft if you didnt get it yet) will decide how we play our games in the future , now everyone are hyping the game pass which MS are losing money (peanuts for them) on because its cheap and a great value for the consumer , but once they eat up more of the market you will see an increase in prices (as you see in every other up and coming service that becomes mainstream).
If MS which are the 2nd biggest corporation in the world will keep spending its endless war chest on the gaming industry we will be using game pass as our defacto gaming service with Nintendo as the competition , Sony will not be able to compete as MS spends more and more money regardless of current revenue as there will be a breaking point for Sony , one example will be the next Xbox , you will 100% see a new Xbox before the new Sony comes , and the new Xbox will be basically a new AMD CPU upgrade , but it will mean it will probably double the GPU of the Sony PS5.
Xbox is now a PC without windows , it has an AMD APU , SSD , USB , HDMI , PSU and as windows will support the new AMD APU`s they will be able to just drop it in and use their boot loaders and drivers with no additional effort , unlike Sony who needs to do actual work to update an SoC.
TLDR - future is what makes MS the most money , they are going to be the kings of gaming very soon , you can say they are right now with a PC lock and Xbox competing with Sony.

So I guess Sony, who isn't at E3, will be showcasing the heavy hitters of Final Fantasy?
Also the fact that Xbox/Bethesda showed that the lead writer for Starfield was the same guy who wrote Fallout 4, and Skyrim. That damaged a lot of potential hype for me.

I was watching the E3, and I got interested in the new Stalker. I liked the previous one, so I hope the new Stalker will be entertaining as well. For now, I only play cs go, and I'm worried I'll get bored at some point. Even though it's fun and profitable with pages like , I still think I can get used to it.
