Normal, Charged and Plunging Attack DMG will be increased by 1.39% of Max HP is insane. Even for a fairly normal 20k HP, that's an extra 278 damage per hit for a fast moveset. Better than having an innate crescent pike buff. Stone stele buff damage is just a straight up buff, but it doesn't resolve that resonance damage by Zhongli alone is locked away by getting constellation 1. The Planet Befall damage is strange order of wording but basically what was given as Passive Talent 2 is now an innate damage of the Q attack. Adjustment to hold E abilityis that it will now create a stone stele if max stone stele hasn't been reached and the increased resistance to interruption when casting, which was complaint. The changes to the shield is a proposal to all shields Changes to Geo Elemental Mechanics has taken away increased resistance to interruption. Perhaps it never worked properly. The increases Attack DMG by 15 now applies to all characters, not just the geo character. There is now finally a way to reduce Geo resistance. | ||

I assume the ning buffs are incidental due to the geo resonance changes? She's probably most affected by the geo RES decrease, being a catalyst user. | ||

Another question about artifacts. As I'm still working toward having my preferred artifact sets, is it more important to have the right set, but the wrong stats? Or are the stats more important? My impression is that it might depend on which set bonus you're looking to use, but I just wasn't sure if it could make sense as a practical matter to just level up some other artifacts that gave me the energy recharge or crit rate main stats that I'm looking for. EDIT: I don't feel like I'm high enough AR to optimize substats yet, I'm honestly just happy if a Gladiator's is giving me the right main stat to begin with. I got 3 Gladiator's last night that were all def%. | ||

Depends on the goal, the set bonus, and how OCD you are. For support focused sets like VV, none of the stats actually matter if all you're trying to do is buff your main dps. You can run Noblesse like this if you're concerned about time/resin/budget (though it wastes the 2-set bonus a bit). Of course, you can farm more ideal pieces to upgrade later. For characters where stats matter, main stat trumps everything, but there will come a point when substats matter. For instance, a helm is the only artifact that gives you crit rate/dmg as a main stat, so if you need both and can't get it from your character/weapon, it's gonna have to come from substats. I wouldn't bother leveling artifacts with non-ideal main stats. You'll learn very quickly that artifact xp comes at a premium. | ||

Or I guess the question I'm truly asking is, will this help me enough until I find the artifact stats I'm actually looking for, or does the inefficiency of lacking the right set bonus impede me too much? EDIT: Also about coop. I would like to run coops but a while back when everyone was getting their accounts hacked, I've been afraid to do them because people were suggesting that they were pretty much hacked shortly after doing one (PS5 btw). | ||

With that said, the co-op thing is probably a big sham: https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/comments/kg3goz/psa_what_is_going_on_with_mihoyos_security_and/ With regards to leveling artifacts, if you're pretty sure it helps you clear a domain or abyss then it might be worth it, otherwise despite there being an 80% exp recycle it's still a 20% exp loss, so it's probably not ideal. I have to admit I fed stuff into less-efficient artifacts earlier on just to make sure I could clear stuff, though, so I personally can't just say "don't do it." | ||

I don't believe anyone's shown actual evidence that coop is insecure. Just because they say it was coop doesn't mean it's true. Account purchasing, an already compromised email account, and password reuse tend to be the main culprits in these sorts of cases. | ||

New update can now be downloaded and is +/- 7GBs As always if you're unsure about the 5*, wait for reviews or just roll because he is your husbando As for artifact farming - you should transition from the sojourner/berserker/gladiator artifacts but don't force it too hard. Don't go immediately for +20 golds, +16 purples can give you good mileage as well as long as they're good sets, good main stat rolls and good substat rolls. Someone posted a YT video a few pages back explaining that going from +16 to +20 takes as much resources as going from +0 to +16 so yeah... that's the real endgame grind. Legendaries with right mainstat and properly rolled substats. | ||
