can anyone give some tips about drifiting the right way? and by that i mean drifting perfectly through a corner to boosting.
i just cant seem to get it done properly.

GTR: start earlier than you think you should, and if you hit the inside wall you started too early. Hitting the outer wall because you started drifting too late doesn't force improvement the way hitting the inner wall does... at least in my opinion.

I use wasd keys and right shift and right ctrl to play.....

Edit: Here's some video tutorials. Probably better to see it done right than to get tips from someone like me that's still learning.

Hmm, I've learned how to drift 'safely' on most maps (including Zig Zag), just gotta perfect the boost (tbh, I don't think I've got one boost out of a drift yet).

In order to do the quad or quintuple drifts on one turn, is it necessary to have an awesome car? (and by awesome car, I mean the kind thats only available in korean/chinese versions)

Press f11 once you start up kartrider. it'll put you into windowed mode. Should help a bit. Its a godsend for widescreen play.

f5 is also useful, it makes you "ready" if you're waiting to begin a game, and it'll start a game if you're the race's winner.

It's a bit too weird to play in windowed mode, so I prefer fullscreen.

Doesn't matter anyhow, figured how to stop pidgin tabbing me out.

Just finished chapter 1 of the scenario mode. Man! The last scenario is so simple compared to the second to last. + Show Spoiler +

last race is on zig zag vs chunk and brill... cake walk compared to beating a bunch of chinese laggers 10 times

I had to play sooo many single speed races on zig zag to beat that (you have to win 10 races, minimum 4 racers and team mode wins didn't count). Zig zag was the only track people were bad enough on so I could win semi consistently-- assuming people didn't ram me into walls. Best time was 3:18.

I learned people don't like racing on zig zag. Many uncounted souls joined my rooms only to leave as soon as they saw the map. And one dude decided to spend a whole race putting me into walls because I wouldn't change the map to something he didn't have to drift on....

Since it's still beta... does that mean we are going to lose our characters once Full-Game comes?

Also to the post above, I've had the luck of being in games with zig-zag and BT lovers. Most of those maps I've either had 6-8 riders, most would just stay to replay it over and over. I believe I was playing in the rookie channel, not sure though.

Fuck yeah. I'm downloading it now and should be under the rider Venrae. Pyramid Messa was fun last time but I could never break 2:02 or some time around there.
