I think in Overwatch, the invis is more of a going in instead of an escape. I feel confident enough to still land shots on a hero that went invisible a few moments before. And then there is a chance you have Lucio/Reaper/D.Va on the opposing team.
But the personal teleporter grenade will allow for alot of nice moves.
Wonder how loud her footsteps will be for supports. Maybe reaper level for tanks lol.

You're probably right, against most enemies you won't get the luxury of using invis as an escape, but it still could work in some cases but you can't rely on it.

I'm really glad with the new informaiton. I cannot wait for some 1v1 maps. I loved the Sombra Short and am glad to see it tie into the long term hints from the parts of the arg. It appears that the progression is as follows.
Nov 4th- Unity day (russian holiday) Volskaya short.
Approximate Blizzard Timeline-
Next week nov~8th-12th - Sombra, Antarctica map (1v1) (3v3) and arcade on ptr.
Nov 25thish- Christmas skins and christmas theme'd maps.
December 15th-20th, Oasis map.

Doubt they'll double up on event Legendaries this soon.
Winston, Mei and probably Sombra don't have any event skins yet.

Well yeah mei for sure, Winston might get a santa skin, but honestly a big red suit? its like a big sign saying "INCOMING". would make him way to noticeable.
Well i guess a widow elf skin would be cool, I just can't get into widowmaker. that blue skin color creeps me out. I won't play widow jsut because of that.
