I wanted to share with you a new RTS. It is Boid. Game just got out of early access and now is free on Steam. Game has it's own unique design that maybe no other RTS has.

There are a decent amount of RTS's that don't have building management and very very little resource management (Company of heroes comes to mind). I want more old style RTS like age of empires back!

And they are usually called RTT (Real time tactics). Without resource management (and usually collection), base building and such it cannot really be called strategy.

At high level, game isn't simple tho. Yes, at first glimpse game definitely looks simple, capture spawners, make units and that's it. But at the higher level, there's so much more to do. Harass with scout, map control, balanced composition, constant rally point switches, splitting against AoE Bombs, focus firing support units and so on!
