Seems like another move by ESL to get a better grip at the CS:GO scene and to get it under control, this time by actually giving money and some other perks to the teams they get along with. The last one failed, this one will fail, the next one will fail. The ESL will keep operating, the ESL will keep a major, this rumors have been made up bullshit. But hey, there are also rumors that FaZe is gonna lose its CS:GO team and will sign a new one. These rumors are also bullshit, but enough to be printed like the cologne no major bullshit? I guess in one year WESA is just another of these board things where people meet up twice a year and punsh their logo on some stuff to feel important, but actually has no impact of whatsoever. There isnt another way, ESL is still a big, but not the very big core org. Yes, they got the dreamhacks added, but with ELEAGUE and ECS there are 2 bigger leagues, MLG is now there and the rise of china ESL hasnt have the grip like they had. Either ESL changes its mind, stops the "we want control"-attitude and gets the other orgs and events in their WESA or the WESA will just be irrelevant forever.

Also, I find it amusing that they cite a lack of transparency. I thought WESA was all about that. :> (Source)
