They don't have much to scale them past what they already have, so just give everybody else 4-6k more hitpoints and have hunters deal pretty similar damage. | ||

oh hey look im a hunter, i can outrun any melee class while slowing them with my gay arrow shit, while my pet attacks them oh and also i can lay down gay ice traps to freeze you. i can lay them down IN COMBAT gayest shit ever | ||

The only thing that could possibly beat me when I was full marks specced were demonic sacrific warlocks occasionally and SOME paladins. So, yeah I agree with travis. | ||

Warlock + Priest > Warlock + Hunter because of what I mentioned above. Priests also take much more skill, whereas hunters can just turn on auto-shoot and afk. | ||

FYI i dinged 70 a couple of days ago and i havent had time to get decent dungeongear yet. However wit a variety of blues and ok greens, i aimshot critted a lvl 70 elite for 3000 damage with TS, AotH and Bladefists Breadth. Did the same to a warlock in PvP, and 2900+ crit is standard for aimshot with the normal buffs on. I also critted a lvl 27 warrior for 3566. Screenshot is availiable, although i dont believe this is a rare thing for hunters at 70. My point is just that your friends are wrong  as for travis reply, hunters still cant beat a warrior on fair basis, and a good mage has the upper hand too. Feraldruids are hillariously impossible to beat, if he is not on 5% hp and you got a SS, and with paladins you need AotV and a loooooong road, lthough you probably will die anyway since they can heal to full hp 3 times and cast stunning hammers at you for 1.5k. | ||

Until then, though, you are VERY squishy and die almost instantly to anybody who has gear. Pre expansion, a mage with the pvp set and good items to fill in the rest of the slots was a tank. I could 2-4 shot most people without cooldowns if something crit and I had about 4500 life (which was pretty high for a mage.) If I blew my cooldowns, I regularly saw 1 shots. | ||
