EPTTopalov pressing today may have been a test to see how well Kramnik would fare in a long game and perhaps, even try and break him down physically down a bit for later in the match. It certainly wasn't worth a loss and the match is only 12 games, so I don't know if it was such a good idea (hindsight being 20-20 and all)...
