At level 91, I had 63k health as a Tank.
Monsters had around 100k health.
I was dealing around 1k to 5k damage on normal hits. Up to 10k critical damage for some abilities (Shield Slam).
It takes 597k XP to go from level 90 to level 91 and 640k xp to go from level 91 to 92.
Quests rewards were between 10k and 15k xp. Up to 20k for the difficult ones.
A new quest type is available: the "Bonus Objectives". When you walk around a zone, new objectives might appear randomly in your quest list. Completing the objectives will reward you with extra experience, leaving the area will drop the quest. Thanks, will look into this more. Sounds fucking awesome. ITEM SQUISH <3 Xp squish also sounds perfect. I hated the fkn 18million quest grind and that stupid huge jump from like 5k xp to 150k and stuff it like wut. Keep it simple and easy. Wow programmers finally thinking properly in that sense. 5hours for 2 levels sounds quite l ong still too. Going be nice seeing all the nerds going ham at start trying get them world first 100s etc! I be one of em ;3

Fairly certain that 2 levels took a lot more than 5 hours when TBC hit. Wrath was short, and Cata and Panda shorter still in comparison (even taking the 5 levels vs. 10 levels difference into account).
EDIT: maybe it took speedlevelers 5 hours to get 2 levels in TBC, but for us normal people having to ride all over fucking Hellfire Peninsula looking for the quest and living in fear of giant robots, it took longer (not to mention the extreme lag from having an entire server's population in one zone at a time). And Hellfire was relatively easy to get around compared to fucking Zangarmarsh (I won't even bother talking about Blade's Edge Mountains, which is, imho, by far the worst zone ever designed in WoW. Worse than original Desolace, Hinterlands and Swamp of Sorrows put together).

Well i remember in the past 2 expansions. Panda land and Cata i leveled the first level via mining alone as i was ranking up the Gz. So i haven't quested since day one since LK where i had easy time :s

I seem to remember 60-70 taking about 5 days orso in TBC and still finishing as one of the first alliance to hit 70. It was a lot slower then nowadays for sure.

It took me ages in TBC but that was mainly due to having a bad pc and friends who slacked XD Defiantly felt like more of an achievement back then though, that i agree with.

when WoW launched i made like 1 lvl per day for the last levels.
And i wasnt slow at all, i was the 3rd priest to reach max on my server.

I hate leveling so I'd like to see a faster leveling process.

I love how you can just wander around picking flowers now and you'll get to max level in pretty much no time at all. In vanilla there were items in the level 49-60 range that were useful at max level. When ZG got released it stopped making sense to go back to old "leveling" content but before that there was not a huge distinction between what was for leveling and what was "end game". I find it annoying that once you graduate from leveling content there is pretty much no reason to go back to it again. It makes the leveling process trivial and drives people to blow through it as quickly as possible. Theres no more tribute runs, no more pristine eye of the beast, no more farming for your tier 0 set, no more fire resist gear farming, no more getting attuned for raids, no more stealth runs through BRD, no thinking out of the box, just hit queue and off you go.

Is it worth getting back into WoW now? I haven't played since the end of Lich King...I lost interest and pretty much sabatoged my druid lol.

You could ask someone for a scroll of resurrection if you still have your account to try it out i guess.

That depends on who you ask lol. I'm rather enjoying the game and the preparation looking forward to WoD but I'm hardly the standard case.

No more scrolls? They cancelled that/stopped it last patch?

I think they scrolls still exist...I was thinking about going back because WoD looks really cool. I know I am pretty late in the raiding game but I figured I could level up my characters and maybe add a Panda in lol. WoW is still the best MMO out there. I was considering getting that FF 14 MMO since it is on steam now.

The hinterlands was okay, like one main town tot he quest + you got the dungeon quests, but it was kinda far outta the way tho.

Hinterlands quests were spread out to far for alliance and the zone was a pain to get to for horde.
I actually liked old Desolace but I guess my experience was clouded by playing on a pvp server at the time where it let me avoid Stranglethorn :p

Uhm... Hinterlands is closer to Tarrens Mill than any Ally-City?
