It's awesome.
And like every other boss out there give it 2 weeks and pubs will have it down just as easy. Pubs are a lot more resourceful these days with them having TS and knowing tactics. I'd honestly say there is no real difference between a pub run and a guild run these days other than the gear quality. Bads get replaced instantly and only the strong remain meaning there is no dead weight

Meh in my experience those good pugs are half guild runs at least, and they tend to be really rare. Every time i've tried pugging stuff it's been a clusterfuck as soon as we ran into a fight where you need some amount of brains (imperator says hi!).

Hmm maybe just different experiences. Imp is one of the fights that go better than others people dick about a lot more on kargath / tectus / twins so they go slightly haywire while Imp / bracken everyone is serious so they get one shot. Although maybe requiring 7/7 with armoury checks and 660+ only helps
Yea I've made all of my progression through pugs, though I'm not as far along as most. As long as you get a group that is willing to take the time to learn the fight, discuss strategy and not bail because of a wipe or 2 you can get quite far.
Good news everyone! With some unusual luck I found a guild that had serious roster holes like mine, and we decided to join forces! They had what we lacked and we had what they lacked. BRF went pretty smooth (despite killing only 2 bosses) and we'll be merging permanently. The plan is to kill Blast Furnace today since it was the 3rd boss we went to yesterday and had some wipes. That fight is insane but I really like it, especially the whole "break some shit to move to the next phase" model.
Fun instance. We did 3 bosses normal, then switched to do the 3 heroic. Ran out of time but got 3Normal and 2Hc kills. Got the normal version of crit trinket so im happy :') Also the Heroic boots from Gruul oh gosh. Oh and the neck from gruul hahaha, so i have that for arcane and fire too.
Loot whore'd last night ftw.
Also why did people attempt blood furnace boss last night anyway? Literally this place you can do in any order you choose, you can do the whole other wing before you attempt him. We are literally picking and choosing where to go, add in to fact the increase chance of getting epics dropping from trash and you have better raid.
Blast Furnace is actually fairly easy once you figure out that Icy Veins is full of shit and you need to nuke the operators while transitioning with the foreman guy still alive.
Wow that UI is total whack. How much time must he spent on that haha. Looks good but a bit too crowded for as i like to see pretty much whole screen. Looks very nice though.

We ended up damaging foreman heavily and kind of keeping operators up until two were available but for the most part our healers are great. It was definitely sub-optimal for phase 2 but it worked out.
Hey guys my Alliance [NA] Guild "New Pantheon" on Kel'Thuzad is recruiting healers so I figured I'd post here first to see if anyone would be interested.
We're 6/7 Heroic in Highmaul and we're looking to start Heroic only progression in Blackrock Foundry. We raid two nights a week, Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 PM Pacific Standard Time to 9:00 PM.
We're looking for 1-2 non-Shaman healers (we already have two Resto Shaman) and potentially one or two good Ranged DPS. No ilvl requirement, just need players that can make raid times and are willing to spend time learning fights.
If any of you are interested send me a PM on TeamLiquid or add my battletag: Vindicare#1638 and we'll talk.
Good luck to everyone in Blackrock Foundry, seems a lot more difficult than Highmaul was so far.
Group 1 for us has so far done 8/10 (skipped blast furnace and ended up doing maidens). Group 2 will be running today and tomorrow. I'll probably be coming on my main when some are on alts to get more practice on bosses and at the same time rerolling for some tier pieces. Did some more simming today and found out that my tier gloves are actually better than offpiece and I passed on them when they were going to be practically given to me, so stuck with 2 piece for now doh.
Maidens is actually a really well done fight; can't wait to see in mythic.
Also; lol at that UI. I love how it cuts to him doing old content
