Is there any chance they'll add new neutral heroes if they remaster the game? I ask since WAY back when I was a noob I was SO STOKED when they added the Goblin Alchemist, Firelord, and Goblin Tinkerer. I checked every month for YEARS thereafter but no luck. I never saw them declare that they wouldn't add more heroes, though I also wouldn't have known where to look at the time. That was about 15 years ago lol. Anyways, did they ever state that they won't be adding more heroes to the game? If not, do you think they would? | ||

However, I dont think they will; I even hope they dont for the sake of balance. Now they are trying to rebalance the game, which is great, but still given the history of the last 10+ years, I'm still sceptical how long their enthusiasm will last. If we get new heroes/features, I see the risk that blizzard suddenly loses interest again, and we might be left with a hero that turns out to be overpowered due to a lack of sufficient testing. | ||

But Mafe does raise a good point, but I think that could be true with any hero and balance change, not just a new hero. Ultimately I'd have to question why the Classic department/team went completely afk for approx 5 years between 2011-2015 or so. | ||

I'm just thinking that the odds of breaking something are much lower if you adjust several long-estabilshed abilities/heroes by a few percentages than if you add a completely new hero with 4 abilites. | ||

If I was already winning hard with 2 heroes, I would not hesitate to snag a murloc hero for my game winning push. | ||
