Just beat that stage today, first try and cleared. It didn't seem difficult with my Izanagi at all, he didn't even get to attack.

Failed for the first time in quite some time at the Blazing Dragon Stage in Hyperion Lava Flow since I didn't have any friendly Fire God with me T_T

I think the general consensus is the L/D Hades is more useful, just for matching two color types, though I don't have one personally. It probably depends on your team comp, but I like to try and have as many color types as I can so those sweet combos work for me. Especially because I have a lot of Kirin and Bastet friends =)

Is anyone going to roll during tomorrow's godfest? I'm still debating whether or not I should, I just started playing less than 2 weeks ago so this is the first godfest for me and I've been itching to try my luck, but from what I heard people don't seem to really like most of the monsters in this godfest. There's not anything I particularly want, I'm just looking for something to start building a team around that has more potential/fun than my current REM-less mono-dark team.

Me personally, I'm not gonna roll because I really want a shot at rolling a Red Odin and that's still not available in this God Fest apparently. However if you're new, then one of the Chinese gods could really make the game for you. Especially if you roll Kirin (she rofl stomps most of the game) and to a lesser extent Haku or Leilan (I currently have Leilan, still wish she was Kirin though -.-). but yeah I mean.. if you don't currently have a good spike team then rolling the dice for a Chinese God is definitively worth it. And as far as the hero gods go... Well I don't really know what to think of them.. don't seem too good at first glance, but I"m sure they have their uses.

If only this game had trading lol, I'd gladly give a Kirin or two to you. During player's choice godfest, I rolled 7 times, got 5 trash and 2 gods... both of which were Kirin. Except oh hey, I already have one. So now they just sit there useless because I can't bear to feed them as skill ups but I don't need them as subs either :/

I'll only roll on my Kushi account because I could really use a Meimei sub for her. Saving stones on the rest.

Passing on this godfest. I already have Bastet, Haku, UmiYama, and Suzaku. I've got enough spike leads in my life. Kirin would be nice to have, but rolling for just her will just lead to disappointment. Maybe I'll pull once just for fun. I tend to get lucky when I don't really want anything.

hero gods are amazing, they just need heavy investment to be good

they require a lot of max skilled/max awoken orb changers (especially ninjas)

I'll roll 3 eggs and hope for one of them. Although my team is mainly about balanced chars.
I agree about Kirin. I have one as a helper and it's difficult to plan or match the 4 orbs needed. With Byakko helper I don't need to think much.

I got a Yamato Takeru, Marine Rider, and a Mystic Dark Knight. I'm not sure how good Yamato is - needs 8+ fire orbs for 4x attack. Seems difficult to me unless I got multiple orb changers...
