I thought a lot of the things in the conference were really good. The multitasking aspect of the One is pretty much where gaming technology is going to go, blurring the line between console and computer even further. No one purchases a phone that's just a phone anymore, and video games have been following that trend just like everything in technology has. Microsoft jumped on the industry hot topics. There was a bit too much fluff (like the Halo television series) for a conference as short as this one for my tastes, but Microsoft is also preparing for the more content-focused E3 conference soon, which vindicates them in this regard for me. I got what I expected from this conference. Could have been worse. I don't see anything that would convince me to buy a One just yet, but E3's content conference could change that. With E3 right around the corner, they could just not have done this presser in the first place and saved themselves the embarrassment.

In fact, in my opinion, they possibly confirmed them. "Everything is on the cloud!" they said. "You can access your stuff from wherever you are!" they said. This just screams always online and trying to make it sound like a great innovation to me. It's possible that it's set up the same way as Steam is and you can still play in off-line mode, but that's really not the way they made it sound in my opinion.

Well from what I heard (I don't know for sure) the new consoles are already behind pc in terms of graphics cards their like a generation or 2 behind what are currently out. I don't expect any console games even on the new xbox/ps4 to have the same graphics as battlefield 3 or crysis 3 maxed. I could be wrong of course, but from the improved graphics they showed on cod ghost and how much better it was then mw3 it still wasn't as good as battlefield 3 let alone crysis 3.

Thats where you'll see games and such... seriously you guys... Sigh... -_- You shouldn't blame viewers because Microsoft don't know how to make a proper launch show. If you actually think this was good I don't know what to say. Yes comparing it to E3 is dumb, so is the way Microsoft barely mentioned games other than Call of Duty. You basically learned nothing from this launch show other than it's basically an elaborate smart-tv.

Sony didn't show alot interesting stuff but Microsoft didn't manage to show anything i even care remotely for. Showing how the console looks is not important to me it could like a giant turd as long as it works fine i don't give a fuck.
