I also inferred (perhaps wrongly) that when he chose to place 'entertainment device' in quotation marks that he was mocking Microsoft's positioning of the product in that fashion given that the PlayStation 4 can or will actually do everything that the Xbox will do. | ||

D: Understandable. The same probably goes for PS4 as well. Although you'd think they'd at least get one with somewhat similar specs... running a GTX 780 is quite a bit better GPU than the one that will be in the XBO (although I still prefer Xbone, it just sounds catchier in my head... as well as being snarky). Given that the console isn't yet released and the dev kits probably aren't finalized, running it on a PC makes sense. But it feels like cheating to run it on a PC that is more tricked out than the hardware the console will eventually have. | ||

Well the first part I wrote, + Show Spoiler + that the explanation that Microsoft is positioning their product as an 'entertainment device' rather than a 'gaming console' is not actually sufficient to explain or excuse the issues that the vast majority of the market is raising with the system. The second part, as I admitted, was an inference I drew. I don't actually know if it was his intent or not and I wasn't really relying on the inference that I drew when I said you ignored his point (i.e. the point made above). In any event that's my problem, not his. | ||

Since, to me, the goal of this thread is not to be pro sony or MS and stand by ps brothern and insult all pro MS people. Wouldn't it be nice to just read about the systems with out all the hostility and intense Bias's. Its like people are arguing which country is better or something. Clearly both manufacturers have done a great job of creating brand loyalty. its 399 dollars, they announced it at E3. Hes post was a little dickish yes, but not extremely if you find it such a big problem you shouldn't resort to starting your post by throwing an insult | ||
