It's a pejorative, albeit a more mild one, the same as Crapple, Scroogle, M$, Libtard, etc. You use it in a conversation and the other party is going to immediately become defensive about it, which instantly cuts down on the range of conversations you can have.

Now there's merit in that if you just want to make fun of something, but if you actually want to discuss something with another viewpoint, you can't lead off with a name that bothers them. That's why I'm switching to XBO.

Had he written what you wrote/infered I would have no problem with his post. But he didn't write that. I think it was pretty arrogant of you to assume all of what you did and then judge that I didn't get his point. Did you ever consider that your assumptions and inferences could in fact be false?

Which brings me back to what his point was. If his point was what you think than he did an awful job of making it, because only people who allready agreed with it would make such an inference and whats the point of making a point to those who allready agree? However, if his point was to be a dick, he accomplished it, I just don't think it's a worth while point to make.

I didn't say he didn't make a point I said it added no value and that the main goal was to be a dick. I then gave support to the person who gave information, and I have done that to both sides. Since, to me, the goal of this thread is not to be pro sony or MS and stand by ps brothern and insult all pro MS people. Wouldn't it be nice to just read about the systems with out all the hostility and intense Bias's. Its like people are arguing which country is better or something. Clearly both manufacturers have done a great job of creating brand loyalty.
