Hi Hitch, can you explain how cloud processing will make the Xbox One so much more powerful. Please show me your working out because I'd love to see it. At the E3, literally the only concrete thing cloud processing provided was in Forza 5. And that's to make the AI better. Nothing to do with physics or graphics or anything. Just the AI, which can be done with any system if you design around it.

hmm consoles are allmost allways more costeffiecent then a PC, since its closedsytem with defined specs. PC gameing will allmost allways be more cost ineffcient (atleast at the beginning of an generation),but it will also have the latest technology, but ofcourse you need to pay for it.
My only problem with the Xbox1s price tag is the 499$=499 EUR which for me as a swede is a adjusted price of 658,33 dollars
but it hardly matters since i probably wont get one before the first major price cut since the most interesting game i saw for it was BELOW
other slightly interesting stuff where  roject spark looked like fun, but im not a very creative person. Forza 5 new take on AI look quite interesting but im not much of car guy, Halo is nice but i can wait for it, Ryse could be kinda cool for a few hours.

I never once tried to affirm or debunk but you, sir, have blatantly claimed knowledge of its works as if you have some for seen god affirming belief that would debunk it.
Microsoft has made claims it would increase processing over the cloud and rely less on its console processors and I have yet to see a single reason to think Microsoft would fabricate lies with false advertising if it weren't true.

In all fairness Scandinavians have a much higher, in terms of USD, paygrade. My friend who lives in Norway makes 30$ an hour part time as a pizza delivery guy, we lived in Res together at Uni.

This will run every modern game on high settings. You can also easily drop $100 by getting a cheaper mobo/gpu, and a little more than that with a worse processor. You also can reuse almost all of it. If you already have a case, DVD drive, HDD, and PSU you can drop that cost down to 541.96. DDR3 may also last for a while so you wont have to buy better memory when you upgrade later on down the road knocking off another $70.

didnt EA say stuff about cloud processing on simcity (but it ended up not mattering anyways)? maybe microsoft pulling something similar?
also, $600 PC will never, ever perform like a new generation console of similar spec. optimization is very important from what i hear. so to have a pc that can perform like a new gen console would cost you near or over $1000 would be my guess.

They would lie because the PS4 is thought to be more powerful. Because it has more shaders than the Xbox One and it specifically designed to use its extra compute units to do parallel tasks that CPUs aren't good at. That is enough reason to think of ways to find ways to suggest X is better than Y. Assuming the GPU downclock rumour is right, then the PS4's GPU is literally 50% more powerful.
Do I need to remind you about how Major Nelson (Microsoft's PR mouthpiece) did a blatantly incorrect article saying that the Xbox 360 had a faster memory system than the PS3 by adding the speed of the RAM and embedded memory together. Do I need to remind you about the Cell. Do I need to remind you about blast processing bullshit or the gigahertz myth when AMD finally released a processor that destroyed Intel.
Again: tell me why Microsoft wouldn't be lying about the cloud when everything points to "yes, they're making shit up".

Exaggeration =/= lying. They can say the cloud processing will "insert hyperbolic statement" but the minute they say it will have an affect on processing, which they have, it becomes false advertising if it's not true. We have been told it will help decrease the load on the Xbox One, meaning it works.
Wom seems to think otherwise and blatantly has stated so.
