Agreed, but people don't give a shit about that. They just want to see him play. True fans will be patient and not insult him. Sure, he has been cleared medically, but he is still unsure about himself. Last time I saw Rose doing warmups, he was still landing with great care and is still worried about his knee. We don't know even know how well he will even play since it's been so long he played in an actual game.

bulls desperately need a good passer right now. hinrick and deng are the two best passers on that roster at the moment. nate can pass but he makes so many damn bad decisions. macro is alright but hes at best, alright.

Bigger issue with Nate is just that the Bulls won't be able to hide him on defense. It's manageable in small spurts or against the bench, but a lot less so against starters. Hell, even Miami's bench can manipulate him.

He says he is only about 95% I think. What if he never regains that extra 5%?

I've been on his side but I really think I am starting to switch. So many Bulls players playing with injuries and probably less than 95%. He needs to accept he might not ever be the same player as before. It is possible...

If it was a contract year, would he be out there playing? Or if he got paid per game? He's out there warming up an hour and a half before the game..I say it might be time to help his team any way he can.

I can understand rose's perspective, but from an elite player perspective I find it hard to believe that any other top player would sit out while watching his team go through the playoffs. I mean hell, doctor's tell you you're free to play, the next step is to get over it and just play. It's all in his head right now. He's afraid of the injury or that it'll happen again.

If Rose is struggling mentally like suggested, throwing him into the pressure-cooker that is the second round--against the Heat no less--will not be a positive thing for the Bulls team. At this stage I'd say the chemistry would be better with Rose sitting.

Heard a discussion about this in ESPN radio with some players who had ACL tears. You'll never feel the same. They actually said "you may have a new 100%. Your new 100% may be 95%. Either way you don't know until you go out there and try, otherwise you'll 'i just need a little more time' yourself right out of the league."

Not like Rose hasn't been playing 2 whole months in full contact practice or anything.

Sure, he shouldn't play if he is convinced that he isn't ready. However, the fact he isn't ready shows he isn't nearly as mentally tough or elite as other stars.

Noah said he could literally barely walk going into this series and played through it. That is toughness. That is somebody who wants to win. Rose doesn't care enough, otherwise he'd be on the court. Period.

Wow, Durant put up a ridiculous 28/8/5 on 51/42/90. He had a 65 TS% (second behind Mr 2 foot or less, Tyson Chandler) and he, rightfully so, still wasn't close to NBA MVP.

LBJ and Durant are really amazing players and so far ahead of the pack.
