i really don't know where to lean, i think okc is going to trashed by memphis. right now spurs is 1.82 and memphis is 7.00 to win the WCF

There's a chance that he will join Howard and Kobe. All three desperately want a ring (Kobe for 6th to match Jordan, Howard and Paul for their first). And how do you guys think this will look from a PR standpoint? If Howard goes to the Clippers it would look really bad on him after all that #countondwight and for CP3 maybe it won't be bad since LA is so Lakers-dominated.

If I did the numbers right for LAL to keep D12 and sign CP3 they'd have to trade Pau for an extremely large trade exception/a really cheap player AND amnesty Kobe, and I think Laker nation pitches a fit if you amnesty Kobe, especially since he might come back for the start of the season and because of all he's done for the franchise. Plus if you do that the team is even weaker than it is now, and once again why would CP3 sign to a team that would basically be him+D12 and a bunch of bottom-tier NBA talent + D-league scrubs? Especially since he has the pull with the Clips to get VDN fired for an actual coach/a coach he'd like, on a roster with much more and deeper talent? While I think that both are the favorites to win their respective series I don't think that it's a sure thing, certainly not as sure as the Heat making their finals. I think GSW has a chance to upset again, given their fantastic guard play, although SAS is certainly favored, and while OKC games have looked ugly if they clean their shit up then they still have a good chance against MEM. I think that the Grizz's lack of 3PT shooting will come back to bite them eventually, either against OKC of if not certainly against the Spurs, who won't let them exploit as many gaps in defense as other teams would. If the Bulls win today then I'll only have gotten GSW and MEM wrong. I thought MEM would win actually but then changed my mind last minute and put LAC on my bracket, should have stuck with my gut instead... still I like MEM better so I'm happy they won.

And I think it's unlikely, LAC is much better than LAL right now so if he wants to stay in LA he's gonna stay with LAC. If he tests free agency I think DAL/HOU/ATL are the most likely, and if he does test free agency IIRC both DAL and ATL have the space to sign both him and D12, and as they're good friends I could see them trying to team up wherever they land. Yeah you're right, I figured if they wanted to make things work they would have to amnesty Pau, then Dwight and Paul would have to take less money or something. You never know though, it's the Lakers. Honestly though I don't see Dwight or Paul going anywhere else, pretty sure they are staying in LA.
