Last I remember they call traveling rules differently. I don't think that video supports your point at all unless this has changed recently. I posted those links to show you the move they are taught is the same one Lebron is doing. Read those rules again: On the MOVE he catches the ball, takes a dribble and does a lay up. There is no pivot to establish. Only way he could be called for a travel is if he takes two steps and dribbles.

Also let me ask you this: Lebron James catches the ball on the move after his defender makes a mistake and gives him space. what are his legal options by the way you are interpreting the rules?

Thats another thing to remember. The Pacers are playing without Danny Granger. They will absolutely resign David West this off season. PG and Lance Stephenson will be better next year. And they will have Granger. I'm really excited to be a Pacers fan right now and next season.

I think you don't actually understand what a pivot is. There's a difference between what a pivot in basketball and physics. You don't actually have to pivot in order to have a pivot foot. This is pretty basic. And the rules are all the same, in the nba ones it clearly states you can't lift the pivot foot before dribbling. You are allowed 2 steps before a shot or pass but not before a dribble. Here read this. http://phillyref.com/articles/basketball/travel.html

Your whole pivot foot argument is moot anyway because he only takes a step before letting go of the ball. The ball is on its way down on his second step anyway.
