I wasn't being serious about the missed 3s. In essence - shit happens. One missed call (and he didn't travel on the game winning lay up) is just part of the game. The refs missed many tonight also.

Uh yeah he did, which is why I pointed it out. Every game has miss calls but this one cost them the game.

No he didn't travel. How can you clearly call that a travel when he takes one dribble and gathers? o.0

Can you clearly see him pick the ball up before his second step there?

Also Paul George was out of position. Most NBA players will 1 dribble from the arc -> blow by there. Don't need to travel.

He caught and put it down immediately idk what you're talking about.

And Ace is right, it's all on George for being way out of position. If he was in front THEN he wouldn't be able to get a layup in 2.2

1. If it was a travel they never call that shit anyway
2. He started to walk AS he put the ball down. Much like a gather, the NBA considers it legal because you're starting your dribble then.

No, he took a step and released his pivot, and then the ball left his hands. That's a travel, look it up. And I can't stress how much easier it is to blow past people if you don't have to put the ball down before the first step. Yeah it's the NBA and they go easy on everything in the final minute, but that's still a travel no matter how you slice it.
