I have played most evenings between at least 20 and 23, most afternoons from 2-17.30. Add me or Fuelled/Sparker as friends, probably going to add Targe as at least able to invite, so add him just to make sure. I just checked and have not recieved any new friend requests (which is the easiest way to get hold of me).

On June 07 2014 20:47 Bumblebee wrote: Well, the plan was Hazak IIRC but some people caved at launch because of the queue to get onto it right during the launch, and thus split people up as a lot of people also had made plans with other people and can't/won't just change... The problem was that we didn't have a clear server at launch, so we just started, and eventually we voted: 5/3 for Ravenous in the end because of the huge queue's in the first 3 days. We're playing on Dominion Ravenous PvP-EU. Gotta say, the game gets more fun at level 15 and I can't wait 'til 20.

I'm ok in the end with the choice of Ravenous but I don't see how it's anything else than a somewhat selfish decision by the people who didn't wanna stick up with the queue time and/or didn't have other obligations. It's basically what has caused us to be split. On top of that you've also taken the liberty of making Ravenous the official TL afterwards which then furthers makes it hard for the people who stayed on Hazak with the other people who they've made deals with and/or already played quite a lot on. Anyhow, enough rant about it. It is what it is, but please just don't pretend it was fair to all parties involved. :-/

The only PvP server there was when everyone who pre-ordered started was Hazak, people made "deals" with other friends outside of Team Liquid based on that Hazak was the server. Then when the game launched and guestpasses came (or a little earlier) some people were annoyed with the queue time, which is fine, and then decided to go on Ravenous based on that vote. That vote is sort of not really fair towards the other people who made deals with other people to get the best server possible, they'd have to choose and that kinda really suck. They added ravenous about 6 hours after the game launched and we didn't have any actual official server, not even PvE/PvP to my knowledge. I never made any deals with anyone in or outside TL to join Hazak (or a PvP server at all) Whenever more interest came for WildStar than the intial few (me, you and a couple of others) we decided we'd roll on Ravenous (most of us hadn't even made any characters yet but were just scared by the Hazak queues which were over 13 hrs by that point). You can't really blame anyone for going for another server than the one you and maybe a couple of others had planned to go for if there was no big post in the thread that Hazak was going to be their home and the queues were as long as half a day. We never even called ourselves official I don't think, more ''unofficial'', because Ravenous was easilier accessible so it's better for completely new guys to go there I personally think. As said, I would've gone on Hazak if the queue times had shortened in time for me to start levelling there and roll my main, but it just took so long and we wanted to play. People can choose to go to where they want, they're not ''forced'' to roll with TL or anything. Choose where you want to go, but we've got a guild made for TL on Ravenous PvP, we just took the initiative. Again, I would've definitely rolled Hazak if there was clear communication at the start and the queue times wouldn't be SO rediculious in basically the first half week. So I suppose the two servers you could go now is Hazak PvP or Ravenous PvP To play with people from Team Liquid. Looks good/fun so far, but i've been trying to avoid some information because i'm usually not happy playing like an MMO or a competitive game (think like DOTA) without looking up all of the champion abilities after 2 games, and i'd rather have some fun and get some decent hours in, rather than freaking out over itAs for guy with like 250ms ping to europe, ouch, i get the feeling that 100 would significantly negatively affect the feel of this game, worse than WoW etc anyway It depends on hardware usage, the game is quite dominant with one thread, so i doubt more than three CPU cores would help. I have the best thing available for it (Haswell @4.7ghz) but it still choked at times, also seems really GPU heavy. In GPU heavy areas my 770 was eaten i was able to double my FPS by turning down a few settings, keeping the important stuff, and using 512 render distance, but before i did that, i saw sub-40 FPS half a dozen or so times in the time it took to get to level ~4.5, my 144hz screen was upset ![]() ![]() What's your character name? I'll add you atleast on the game (and maybe skype if you decide to keep playing, considering it's still just a guest pass ) and if you want get you into the guild etc! ![]() I'm running an i5 4670 (obviously at stock because I'm an idiot. ) and constantly at 50% load approximately. On big fights like Metal Maw with 20+ people, it goes up to 60% load but really stops there, and at that point I run at ~18FPS instead of my usual 40FPS. Should check temperatures of GPU and CPU under heavy load later.

Edit: Some of the things we did was remote desktop login from laptops or work pc's so you'd be logged in when you get home, or some people set up a simple mousescript to repeat an action of walking forward and back again every 10-15 minutes and left their PC's overnight. I personally didn't have login problems, I was in queue on the first day for 4-5 hours but since then not really had a problem besides half an hour here or there by being smart about it.

They start levelling and whatnot, A and C also plays a bit but then can't be bothered with the queue time and then switches and afterwards then starts up a TL guild and advertises it a little bit as a TL guild (at least that's how I've seen it been done, where there's "a few others playing on the other server"). In this situation, in my opinion, you're kind of splitting the community by doing that rather than either suck it up stay or just play on your own there. Or you're asking B and D to abandon their other friends to go play there with TL. In the end I don't think you have bad intentions at all and the queue did suck badly but we're a lot of people overhere who overcomed it with different tactics. It just sucks this was done because this is definitely what ended up splitting the TL community on two servers. I do apologise if it came over like this, but I started playing on Ravenous before I looked at Hazak, so I really didn't know how many people were already going to roll there. I basically said everyone who wants to play could roll on Hazak and when I got a couple of people asking, we started a guild (to either stay together or merge with a bigger guild.) to keep people organised. After a couple of days I was actually brainstorming a bit on how we could possibly merge and not have anyone have bad feelings, but it really can't be done as long as they don't allow free transfers in any way from ravenous to hazak or the other way around. We were already level 13+ at that point and I imagine you guys were. Really unfortunate but I thought it was too late at that point, hence I started sending people to Ravenous (I was under the understanding that you wanted to play with your Dota friends and some other people, not really under a ''Liquid'' name if you catch my drift). So that's where miscommunications took place and it happened too late. Again, I apologise, I really didn't know better On your edit: I didn't know any friends who were actively playing with me (right now there's one friend of mine playing with me a little bit, really holding me back from levelling actually.. ) so I did have that problem unfortunately. That's also part of the reason why I stuck to Ravenous, as well as we'd already started a bit here.I'd like to add that I really didn't expect any amount of guest pass askers to show up. I thought this game stood relatively under the radar on TL but surprisingly it bursted up after official release June 3rd.

It was xAeryn i'm thinking a lot of playing on Hazak my best friend bought the game and was going nuts at me for hours about not playing there, about how it was the obvious best server etc. arcblade_tank on skype and anyone here is free to add me 50% load over 4 cores is pretty irrelevant stat, it only matters how high the load on your most demanded core is. sc2 chokes out and is cpu bound to hell with 16% average load on an 8-core cpu
