Not saying its not entertaining, not saying Gen isnt doing the best job RP'ing a really obnoxious selfish character. Am just saying, her character, at this point would be a liability and I would let her die, and then loot her for all of the gold/potions.
Again, people are going to yell at me for hating on Gen...not the case at all... I just dislike Abigael, and would let her die to split her belongings and gold since she has no intentions of helping the group at all and expects to be paid for carrying her own weight.

Just saying. Abigael would die if I was in the group..especially if I was the healer.
The accumulated filth of all her sex and murder will foam up about her waist and the theif will look up and shout "Heal me!"... and I'll look down and whisper "No." =D Have you thought that there might be another reason for her hoarding all the gold possible other than her love of shiny valuables? Also, she has saved the group couple of times. Especially with the whole lord thing that happened. Also, I think there has to be a reason for someone to become a thief. She's an interesting character for sure and I personally can't wait to hear more of her past. That goes to every single one of the character as well. But the beautiful thing is, people can dislike things. There's nothing wrong with it. If anyone yells at you for it, it's because they fail to see that. I guess. But if it was for some noble cause, she could easily say to the group "Hey im not a selfish PoS...i need the gold for X" and the group would be like "O well in that case". Just saying, If i was Tudagub... next time she needed a heal "how much do i owe you again?... ok no heals for u" Well Tudagub does a lot of stupid shit aswell that end up hurting the group. I like the mix of the different characters. Keeps it interesting. If they were all nobel and good like Vincent than the whole interaction would be pretty boring.

Gen is doing amazing, what are you talking about?
JP has done far more to harm the group, he ruined(and you know there was at least some want to ruin) abigael's plan for the elven chainmail, broke the orb which was clearly important/magical, kept fucking up during when they were captured and almost got all of them killed.
Vincent decapitated the guy they needed, despite abigael saying(rightly) that Dalamar wanted him alive. If anything, Gen's problem is that she is not vocal enough because too often she actually leads the party onto the right trail (dalamar, brightblade, dungeon).
You're complaining because Abigael is roll playing; she's miserly with her money because it benefits her, that's who she is as a (chaotic neutral?) thief. She managed to get huge armor which benefits the party more than anything you complain about is, BECAUSE of how she's acting.
Gen, if you see this, you're doing wonderful and I enjoy watching you play.
+ Show Spoiler + But I can't believe you let fucking Mr. MugWuggles die
|
He is complaining for the personality of Abigael is a turn off and not the roleplaying of her. Also you realize you spoiled this week's rollplay for maestro in your 2nd paragraph right? lol. Also Tudagub can heal the party so he has a significant role in helping them. Abigael can rob people oh and 5% finding traps. In my opinion the party can put up alot more of the shit with Tudagub than with Abigael with just that notion alone. + Show Spoiler +Also Vincent didnt decapitate Brightblade. Bregor did. Vincent just fatally wounded him.
Also comparing Abigael's plan of getting better armor with charging the party for a potion that may or may not work is quite silly. Both justify her greed but the potion benefits the team as opposed to just herself. I really doubt the party would get any benefit from that plan in all honesty. The orb's effect as stated in a previous Q&A is ok I guess but perhaps it was not important. Also no one told Abigael to go kill the Alchemist she could of asked for information before accepting the job. Everything after that time was Tudagub trying to get out and failing miserably. Also Abigael's greed during that time also hurt the party as well because perhaps if she didnt want to keep the potion of invisibility so badly perhaps the idea of having the dead body ingest the potion (if it works) and carry him to a burial spot would have been wiser. If it does not work just try some tell tale heart shit and ditch the body in the planks of the store assuming it was a wooden floor or just leave it there I mean I do not think they had autopsy's back then.
Either way what's done is done just gotta let it go.

I can understand not wanting to fight him or something, but straight up leaving the party and risking to anger Dalamar? I don't understand that decision. It doesn't feel to me like it was a well thought decision, just a stupid one taken on the impulse. Even if he had tried to heal him, it wouldn't have been enough. He was dead. You'd have needed a resurrection spell.

Lol thankfully I didnt read the post critiquing what I wrote, because I realized as soon as I finished the first sentence, that he obviously doesnt understand what I was writing lol.
Again. I know I said this in the post already... but I dont think Gen is doing a bad job. I think Abigael is a person, who if was in my group, I would want to kill because she lies and steals from us and tries to extort us just to get her to do her job.
Again. I wrote in there that Gen is probably doing the most actual RP'ing and is staying truer to char than pretty much everyone. But the fact is, she is a thief and she is stealing from me/lying to me/ripping me off = I would want to kill her.
I dont know how to be more clear than this.
I literally wrote EXACTLY in my post.... Gen is doing amazing at RP'ing her character. Its just that I dont like her character because she is a selfish thief (as a thief more than usually is... I mean people who rely on taking from others for their own benefits... are generally selfish because its sort of the definition of "selfish")
Tudagub is clearly brash and selfish, but he is neutral evil...and he pretty much causes EXACTLY that everytime he does one of his dumb moves. (should have been chaotic evil imo lol)
Evil: Screwing up Abigael's plans. Insulting pretty much every NPC. Sometimes he simply walks away from an on-going battle.
Again. You are misunderstanding my post somehow..
I am a huge fan of the show, and would never bash any of them for how they are doing/what they do.
seriously...can people use spoilers ffs. I watch them as they get uploaded to youtube, and would like to not have to ignore every post for a week just to read what people had to say about what happened/happens.
I mean seriously its just highlight and a single click to spoiler ACTUAL spoilers for people like me who prefer to watch the pieces and not the whole thing live on the first night.
Dont know how u quoted the exact lines in my post that said "I THINK SHE IS DOING A GOOD JOB RP'ING" and then told me im stupid for not realizing she is RP'ing a thief....
When I write "Abigael" I mean the short elf girl with blonde hair and red eyes... Not the french canadian girl with glasses who hangs out with 4 nerds on the internet.
My exact post in an easier to understand format.
Gen - Good. Abigael - bad/selfish/needs a lesson in camaraderie.
I dont know how u still misunderstood me -.-" I feel like im being trolled...

Well out of all characters item wise Abigael has been getting screwed the most, kind of makes sense she has the most money sometimes. (which greatly benefits her in this episode)

+ Show Spoiler +Week 1 Episode 3
Tudagub walker over to Vincent, and begins to pick up his flasks previously full of wine. He looks at Vincent, and quietly mutters something to himself. “Well, did we kill everything?”
Abigael begins searching the corpses of the goblins strewn amongst them. “Yeah. We got them, they are all dead.
The rest of the party ignores him.
“Hey, guys! Did we kill everything? What is going on?” Tudagub demands as he fumbles to strap his empty containers to his belt.
Abigael walks towards one of the goblin corpses, “Yeah, we got them.” Without looking up at the ogre, she begins searching the body, emptying pockets and rummaging through the armor. She repeats the process on all of the mutilated goblin corpses.
Finally managing to string the flasks to his belt, Tudagub looks at the female elf, “Well, what did you find?”
Abigael turns her head abruptly at Tudagub, and then returns her focus to the coins glimmering in her hands. She slides half of the silver coins into her pouch as she approaches the cleric, “One hundred silver. Thats twenty-five silver for each of us if we split it evenly.”
The rest of the group looks at one another, and then back at Abigael. Tudagub addresses the group as he stares at Abigael with an eyebrow raised, “Only one hundred silver? I guess goblins don’t really carry much coin?”
Abigael turns and walks away from the half-ogre and with shoulders shrugged, “I guess not.”
After a brief period of staring at her suspiciously, the party shrugs it off and continues their conversation.
Vincent, still sharpening his sword, “Hey Tugabut, I could use a bit of healing, I sustained some pretty nasty wounds on that last one.” He motions at his stomach, where the spear was formally stuck.
“Heal, you? I took more of a beating than you did in that fight, AND I am completely out of wine, thanks to you.” He smacks the empty flasks strung to his belt, and shakes his head at Sir Vincent.
“Fine. Well, whenever you have time, I mean I did just have a spear literally pierced into my gut,” and he places his arm over the wound on his stomach.
Tudagub turns and walks away from the group once more, “Yeah, I am sure that was very painful.”
“Yes, yes it was, thank you.” Vincent rises from sharpening his blades and begins searching the goblin corpses for additional weapons. He pulls several small daggers from the bodies, and places them in his belt. “Man, this stomach wound, is really taking a toll. I sure could use the help of someone with some sort of healing training.”
From a distance he hears a hoarse, gruff shout, “Yeah, I am sure you could.”
Bregor approaches the hole in the side of the hill. “Hhhmm this doorway seems pretty small. Maybe Abigael and I should enter alone, I mean I don’t know how we would get out in a hurry if necessary with the half-ogre trying to squeeze through on his hands and knees.”
Tudagub looks down at his gut and then back at the hole. He straightens out and sucks in his gut, “Maybe it would be best, I mean I need to heal Sir Vincent anyways, you two elves should go in.”
Bregor nods at Tudagub, “Abigael, are you ready?”
“Lets do it,” she nods and follows Bregor into the tunnel.
Bregor and Abigael enter into the dark tunnel. The walls, floor, and ceiling are all made of dirt, with no light except from the tunnel’s entrance. Their elf eyes let them peer through the darkness, as they make their way down the tunnel.
As they are walking down the tunnel in the darkness Bregor speaks to Abigael in elvish, “Only 100 silver?” and he peers over at his elf companion.
“Don’t you trust me?” she ignores his look and continues down the hallway.
“It’s not that I don’t trust you, it’s just that I know you.”
“Fine,” she hands him twenty-five more silver coins. “Better? Now don’t tell the others.”
Bregor places the coins into his pocket and smiles as they both continue down the hall, “Knew it.”
After a couple more steps Bregor and Abigael both stop as they notice a hole branching off the main hall and to the left. Bregor and Abigael approach the edge of the wall slowly, and Bregor peeks his head slowly around the corner, scanning the space. He sees a small cavern carved into the dirt, with rounded walls, and as he finishes scanning he notices a chest. “There’s a chest.”
Abigael attempts to peek around Bregor while struggling to remain behind him, “Do you see anyone or anything else? Is it clear?”
“I think so....”
Abigael walks hastily from behind Bregor to the chest in the middle of the cavern. She removes some metal tools from her pouch, and begins fiddling with the lock on the chest. After a few seconds of manipulating her tools, the lock opens and falls to the floor. Abigael opens the chest and stares inside. “There is nothing here. But it was locked, who locks an empty chest? Goblins. Only goblins. Hmmm. Well maybe there is something hidden or magical in it? Come look at this.”
Bregor approaches the chest and begins inspecting. After a moment he runs his hand along one of the walls of the chest, “Look here. There are a bunch of cuts, and scrapes here. It looks like something metal, probably sharp, was placed in here and removed from here several times. You can see the wear, where it scraped the chest.”
“Maybe we should take the chest out to Tudagub and Vincent? Tudagub knows some spells, maybe he can do something to check it.” Abigael closes the lid and grabs one side of the chest.
“Fine, lets go.” Bregor grabs the opposite side and the carry the chest back through the tunnel and out to Tudagub and Vincent. As they exit the tunnel they see Tudagub and Vincent both sitting down and leaning against the hill, each with a mug of wine in their hands. Bregor and Abigael drop the chest at the feet of Vincent and Tudagub.
Tudagub lets out a belch and shakes his head, “You realize, you could have just taken the loot out of the chest. We don’t need the chest, the good stuff is usually inside of it.”
Bregor sighs, “We already opened it. There wasn’t anything inside of it, but it looks like it might have been used to store some sort of weapon.”
Tudagub laughs as he takes another drink from his mug, “Well excuse me then, it makes much more sense to carry an empty chest out from the cavern, my mistake.”
Vincent chuckles to himself as he takes another swig from his mug, “Nice work Elves.”
Tudagub holds his mug with his teeth, and begins clapping, as he tilts his head back and lets the rest of the wine pours out from the mug, in and around his mouth, soaking his beard.
Abigael stomps her foot on the ground, “Maybe it’s enchanted. You know some magic, maybe you can find something.” Tudagub laughs at her frustration, “I’m not a wizard. What do you, No. I can’t do that.”
“Fine!” Abigael turns to Bregor, “Come on!” and Abigael storms into the tunnel once more, her face bright red.
Bregor stops Abigael from going too deep into the tunnel, “I don’t think we should split up again. We need to keep the party together, in case something happens. Get on your feet, lets go.”
Tudagub and Vincent slowly rise to their feet. Tudagub stumbles as he rises, and Vincent winces in pain and places his hand against his stomach. Tudagub turns to Bregor, “Maybe we should rest. We are in pretty rough shape at the moment, Vincent just had a spear stuck through his gut, and I am still feeling pretty sore from that last fight. Maybe we should try to find a spot in the woods to set-up camp and get some rest.”
Bregor looks at the drunk half-ogre, and the drunk knight clutching at his stomach wound, “Fine. That’s fine, we probably should rest.”
Abigael walks out of the tunnel, “Well we are still going to look around the tunnel right? Surely we are going to search the rest of it.”
Bregor responds, “Yes, we will search it as a group, after we recuperate a bit.”
“Fine,” she walks past the group and into the woods several hundred feet from the entrance of the cave.
The rest of the party follows her, and begins to set up their camp several hundred feet away from the entrance to the goblin cavern. Vincent walks to the entrance of the cavern, and then returns to the camp, with a goblin corpse draped over each shoulder, and dragging two other corpses by their ankles. He walks past the camp and to the river, where he begins splashing the corpses with water. He then proceeds to drag them back to the camp, and lines up their corpses.
Tudagub scratches his head and points at the goblin’s lifeless bodies, “What are you doing with those?”
Vincent looks at the corpses and then back at Tudagub and replies nonchalantly , “I needed a bed.”
“They are all bloody, and mutilated, not to mention they stink.” Tudagub shakes his head at Sir Vincent.
Vincent takes a deep sigh, “Fine. You’re right.” He kicks one of the bodies, and the head falls off and rolls towards the half-ogre.
Tudagub laughs and begins pouring himself another full mug of wine, “Well, I am sure the wolves appreciate you cleaning their dinner for them.”
Bregor approaches the cave, and surveys the landscape in front of it, especially taking note of the remaining dead goblins scattered in front of the entrance. He shouts back to the rest of the group, “Maybe we should move the remaining bodies, in case someone happens to walk by, they might grow suspicious.” After a moment of silence, he realizes the rest of the group is ignoring him, so he begins hiding the bodies of the goblins in the surrounding shrubbery.
Tudagub shouts from the camp at Bregor, “Aren’t you going to bathe yours like Vincent did?” He lets out a loud laugh and shakes his head, “Why is my party obsessed with goblin corpses.” He then looks over at Abigael and nods his head in Bregor’s direction, “Don’t you wanna mess with the goblins too?”
Abigael shrugs her shoulders and begins scanning the ground. She picks up a stick and approaches the goblins that were lined up by Vincent. She begins poking one of the goblins with the stick.
Tudagub shakes his head and rises to his feet. He stumbles over to the nearest tree where he removes his weapon and armor, and then plops down at the trunk of it. He leans against the tree and closes his eyes, passing out nearly instantly.
Abigael and Vincent each find a spot to lie down and each remove their weapons and armor, before going to sleep. Bregor climbs up one of the nearby trees where he maintains watch until dusk, and eventually falls asleep himself.
Several hours later, Abigael, Tudagub, and Vincent are awaken by the sharp pains of spears being poked into the sides, chests, and backs. All of three of them rise to their feet, unarmed, with their hands in the air.
Vincent quickly counts the goblins, and realizes there are ten of them surrounding the party. He makes eye contact with Tudagub, and Abigael, and then realizes that Bregor is not among them. He looks up to a nearby tree, before returning his eys to the goblins surrounding him. Vincent glances up at the tree, “Oh no! Goblins!” he shouts as he returns his focus to the goblins.
Tudagub, with arms raised, shakes his head at Vincent. “They don’t speak common! Say whatever you want, they don’t understand us anyways! Bregor! Wake up! We are surrounded by goblins! Maybe you should consider doing something!” He scans the goblins as he shouts, to avoid revealing Bregor’s location.
Bregor wakes abruptly from his sleep at the sound of Tudagub shouting his name, and quickly surveys the happenings in the camp.
The goblins begin shouting in their native tongue at the party, and begin herding them to the entrance of the cave. Whenever one of the party members pauses or refuses to move they give them a sharp poke from their spears, and keep the group moving towards the tunnel. Tudagub shouts over the goblins, “They are taking us to the tunnel! And also, I just want to say, this is not my fault!”
A moment before Abigael is shoved into the tunnel, he shoots a look at the tree in which Bregor is hiding. He squints ever so slightly, and then nods his head at several of the goblins standing behind him.
Tudagub notices Vincent looking into the tree, “Guys! They don’t understand us! Use your words!”
Vincent shouts to Bregor, “Bregor! Now would be an excellent time to shoot your bow!”
Bregor grabs his bow that was hanging on a nearby branch, and pulls an arrow from his quiver. He aims at one of the goblins prodding Vincent into the tunnel, and releases. As he releases the string, it gets caught on a tree limb and pulls Bregor off balance. In his struggle to remain in the tree, Bregor drops his bow and it falls to the ground beside the tree.
Vincent notices the bow hitting the ground and turns to Tudagub, “Maybe we should just run. They are short, goblins have tiny legs. We should be able to out-run them.”
Tudagub looks down at his protruding gut, “I don’t think that’s the best plan, running is definitely not one of my strengths.”
Bregor leans back against the tree, trying to camouflage amongst the leaves.
One of the goblins walks into the tunnel, and Abigael is forced into the tunnel. Tudagub is pushed to the entrance of the cave, but when he is in front of it, he points at the top of the door, which is much lower than his head, and then raises his arms in the air and talks to the goblins, “Me too big! No fit!”
One of the goblins slams the shaft of his spear against the back of his knees, and Tudagub falls to his knees,”Oh, right.” Tudagub rises to his feet, but as he does so, the goblins all around him, begin smacking him with the shafts of their spears. Tudagub collapses once more and begins crawling down the tunnel into the cavern. Due to his size, Tudagub barely manages to squeeze into the tunnel, and even while crawling struggles to move through it. He shouts ahead to Abigael, “Hide! They can’t see around me!”
Abigael rushes to the cavern that her and Bregor found the chest in the day before. She begins frantically scanning the room, looking for a place where she might hide. She finds a small recess in one of the walls, and squeezes herself into it. Vincent follows Tudagub into the hallway, “Ofcourse I had to follow the half-ogre. This will be lovely.”
Bregor looks down at the campsite, and sees four goblins searching the camp for the noise they heard as they pushed the group into the tunnel. After a minute, one of the goblins shouts something at the other three, and all of them disappear into the cave entrance.
Bregor waits a second to be sure they are gone, and then leaps down from the tree. He gathers the parties weapons and armor, and puts them in a pile in the center of camp. He grabs Vincent’s longsword, Tudagub’s maul, and Abigael’s short sword and hastily makes his way into the hole that his party disappeared into.
Eventually will edit them all and put them all together for a mega post. (by week I mean.)

I would only use a spoiler tag if what I was going to say wasnt hypothetical, or was on the show and was not mentioned in the daily youtube episodes just yet. Otherwise I would not even bother.

It looks like Incontrol's character is beginning to get rather annoyed of Gen (purely in game not outside of game). I kind of get the feeling that he doesn't like some of the moves that she makes and definitely adds another layer to the story, maybe even could lead to something happening between the group members later on. Just a thought, maybe I am just looking too much into it.

JP using his magic to know the future! I laughed when out of the blue Geoff did that.

I'm pretty sure Geoff heard that and kept it as an idea from there. But yeah, it was funny to hear that in the second time watching it. ^^

I'm glad you enjoy it. Thanks!
I want to suggest so many things for your character to do, but that would break the game, plus it's you playing, not me, so it's more fun this way. Please keep playing as you like, ignore others. xD
Good luck in Rollplay! <3

On April 09 2013 08:25 MaestroSC wrote:+ Show Spoiler +Lol thankfully I didnt read the post critiquing what I wrote, because I realized as soon as I finished the first sentence, that he obviously doesnt understand what I was writing lol.
I dont know how u still misunderstood me -.-" I feel like im being trolled...
it cause u don't have the tl;dr that how u manage to get people to misunderstood.

This system is preposterous* with the increased damage to larger creatures (with a longsword at least) making large creatures like ogres, crocodiles and hydras seem less than fearsome and over normal damage crits. o_O What's weirder still than choosing to go with it is that you say you "can't crit a hydra because you don't know its anatomy" and yet you let undead be hit by critical hits when they HAVE NO SPECIAL ANATOMY TO TARGET! Zounds! What part of a Wraith is critically weak to a blade? XD EDIT: Yeah and apparently 2nd edition Wraith aren't incorporeal?!
*I mean, of course it is your choice to go with these things (allowing impossible crits of the extra damage and on the wrong creatures + increased damage versus the things that are meant to be tough, thus rendering them not tough), but I just don't understand why you want to!

People who put sod all effort into making sure they read things properly shouldn't be criticising the people who make long posts to try to make sure they are being clear. TL:DR = Too lazy, don't have a right to speak on the matter, claiming it's your fault for writing more than I can be bothered with. At a glance at the explanation though, it sounded like I would disagree by saying Abigaël has every right o make whatever decisions and all characters are actually 'disobeying' group plas from time to time (Tudagub dropping the crystal ball clearly wasn't in their intentions, Vincent with the decapitation attempt etc.
I have to say, I feel like the real alignments they're playing with though are all neutral of some sort. Abigaël and Bregor are probably right, but Vincent is too willing to get brutally violent and do evil deeds. Plenty of Neutral people are basically good but don't go out of their way to do good. He goes out of his way to do quests and claims it is for good when it's mostly for glory and treasure and proving to himself and his probably naïve parents that he has "made a man of himself and (o_O at this bit) a name for himself". Far too willing to do evil, so he plays much more like a neutral (probably true neutral, i.e. NN) mercenary with good intentions and really biased ideas of honour, resorting to extremes increasingly more often. Tudagub mostly means well and just has nasty streaks etc. but really just seems neutral too. :Þ
Poor Gen needs to be more willing to be less polite by talking over them too (a shame it has to be that way in conversation sometimes! :S).

TL:DR = Too lazy, don't have a right to speak on the matter, claiming it's your fault for writing more than I can be bothered with. Different types of crits.
When you backstab, you go for a weakpoint on the body, hence no backstab on the hydra. The other crits are just really strong hits that connect really well, and you can crit anything with them.
|
^No, that's nonsense. Strong hits are good damage rolls. Back-stab is going for vital areas. Critical hits are the same, but whereas back-stabs/sneak attacks are from instantly targeting them through the target being unable to avoid your targeted their weak points because they were unaware, normal critical hits are from naturally connecting with the right parts, vital organs, even just key veins etc. during the midst of combat. A Coup de Grace (typically a decapitation attempt) can only be used on a helpless (asleep, bound, magically Held etc., not just surprised or flanked) foe and only if they have weak points like that (could potentially be a stab to the heart if the target is a magical creature with no head but a heart or something like that). The rule might be different in 2nd and modified versions but the logic of third edition still should apply, where you automatically score a critical hit, because you target the weak point (a la sneak attacks and normal critical hits) but they are helpless, so they cannot do anything to stop you.
Undead can be stabbed in the heart (e.g. zombie), or have their wispy essence sliced right through, but it doesn't affect how much damage they take as it means nothing special to them. Also what's this rot about hydras having no weak points? They have many heads to cut, it has a heart, it has key veins etc. It is a normal kind of monster, magic beast/beast whatever, but those sorts are generally if not all similar to animals in that they have naturally existing weak points. They're not blobs/oozes and they're not undead, which have no weak points as they are "alive" through magical/unnatural means, it's the negative energy keeping them intact, not a constitution, immune system, a reliance on correctly functioning pathways for blood and oxygen etc.
EDIT: Oh you also seem to be confusing back-stab with just 'back attack'. A "back-stab" is a sneak attack, only the rogue should be able to do it. A normal hit fro behind is just a normal hit with an increased chance to succeed against things that aren't say oozes, because most creatures have a back and a front, senses that help them to defend one side/area more than another. In 3rd edition back attacks don't grant bonuses but in the right circumstances they lose the dexterity bonus because they can't dodge the attack from behind (logical). Flanking (having people on opposite sides of the creature) does provide an additional bonus though, as well as denying them their dex. bonus. I believe attacks from behind don't grant any of that actually, but 2nd may well be different that way, but that doesn't inherently score a critical hit. Maybe I'll have to check again, but I was pretty sure I heard Neal actually state that the Hydra "can't be crit". If he was talking to Gen/Abigaël, it would be about the sneak attack, but then again, Hydras do have weak points logically and a lot of other creatures don't. - She would be able to use a sneak attack if it can't stop her from trying because it is unaware of her or cannot dodge/do anything about the attempt. - She wouldn't be able to if it had its back to her but can easily try to manoeuvre to avoid it because it is in open space and is aware of her being behind it (not affected by Hold Person, bound, asleep, surprised in the first round of combat etc.)
Note about the wraith the players probably shouldn't see if they're not supposed to know: + Show Spoiler +On a different note, the level drain of the wraith seems to be the same as in 3rd edition in that it affectively applies 'negative levels', which is the same as losing the level except that it can be magically restored by cleric Restoration or type spells or a Miracle spell (although in 3rd Edition you might no lose the experience, just the bonuses until restored). If the players aren't meant to know it can be restored, it's probably fine that they don't know that it's a possibility, but if they do get an opportunity to find out that it can be restored, say through asking Dalamar or another about the effects of "a Wraith's touch", I hope they'll find out, so that one day Bregor can hopefully find a high level cleric or as a favour from a higher level Tudagub and have the two levels restored.
