I'm following another group of people doing a D&D campaign for the first time and the podcast format is kind of my preferred method to listen to this kind of stuff. (I could be buying groceries or going to the gym and stuff like that instead of sitting in front of the computer for several hours at a time.) Thanks. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + JP could have healed Brightplate..He is an healer, he could have stopped bleeding and then they could have taken him to Dalamar. I can understand not wanting to fight him or something, but straight up leaving the party and risking to anger Dalamar? I don't understand that decision. It doesn't feel to me like it was a well thought decision, just a stupid one taken on the impulse. | ||

Running away from riders on horses for example. It was a quick decision done in a surprising situation. People don't act wisely in that kind of situations. | ||

It's about imagining what your character, with its mental working possibly quite different from your own, would do in that situation. Considering they're playing DND with character alignments being guidelines for their general behaviour, how JP had his character act out the situation was very well within his character's frame - far more than what your suggestion would have been. | ||

Well obviously + Show Spoiler + JP was roleplaying his hilariously entertaining ogre the same way he has been through the entire series. While part of me wanted to hear the dialogue between Brightblade and Dalamar, I have to say I was very pleased with how Bubblebutt gave zero fucks about Brightblade and any future predicament they might get in to. | ||

Big fan of Geoff... but maybe he should have been the drunk party member, would explain some of his "noises" Also this is why I think I prefer later/newer versions of DnD. In older DnD format the combat is a lot more "I swing" "i heal" whereas in the newer versions u have abilities and shit you can do. IDK i def know if/when I play/DM i want to do a later version just for a more evolved combat system better for gamers who have grown up on MMO's at least in my opinion. "I swing my sword/I shoot my bow" gets old by the 50th fight | ||

I mean a archer should be shooting arrows that is his job. But is a matter of taste i guess. Also the show was great this time. + Show Spoiler + Best part of the show until now: Vincent beheading Sir Brightblead I am happy that they playing a more evil approach. this is when I would just let Abigael die, or go her own way. Seriously insisting the entire party needs to pay her for any/everything. Not saying its not entertaining, not saying Gen isnt doing the best job RP'ing a really obnoxious selfish character. Am just saying, her character, at this point would be a liability and I would let her die, and then loot her for all of the gold/potions. Again, people are going to yell at me for hating on Gen...not the case at all... I just dislike Abigael, and would let her die to split her belongings and gold since she has no intentions of helping the group at all and expects to be paid for carrying her own weight. "I have a potion that will help us finish this mission...but only if u pay me for it... even tho I am part of the group getting the reward... If you dont pay me im keeping it" and the "you owe me for the health potion we used to keep you alive" ... I just brought u back to life with a heal and u want to charge me for letting me drink a potion so we didnt all die? Just saying. Abigael would die if I was in the group..especially if I was the healer. The accumulated filth of all her sex and murder will foam up about her waist and the theif will look up and shout "Heal me!"... and I'll look down and whisper "No." =D | ||

Also, she has saved the group couple of times. Especially with the whole lord thing that happened. Also, I think there has to be a reason for someone to become a thief. She's an interesting character for sure and I personally can't wait to hear more of her past. That goes to every single one of the character as well. There would be thousands of reason why she doesn't want to tell them anything. We don't even know how they came together in the first place. I wonder if even they know that. | ||
