I'm a little curious as to why Beargor gets the enchanted bow, though, given that he is such a tank and thus tends to get closer to the fight. It would seem that Gen would get the most use out a bow, given that she basically always attacks from range. Maybe I am missing something... but I would love to see Tugagub try to make Gen buy the bow of rest of the party if she did get to use it ![]()

I mean, they are 3 people working towards an common goal while she is just there for her own benefit. Egocentric, non cooperative and greedy. If I were in the group I would be asking myself why I would ever help her with anything at all. And I would sieze her gold and divide it evenly amongst the group.

It was a longbow and Bregor usually attacks with bows anyway. Longbows cant be concealed with thieves. Regardless Bregor will drop the bow and Abi will usually miss lol...

I don't think there are attacks of opportunity in 2nd edition. I think that was only introduced in 3rd edition. Not sure if Neal has it in his modified rules or not.

Not sure if Neal has it in his modified rules or not. We do play with AoO, but only in some situations. Also, Brightblade, if I'm not mistaken (and if I failed to say this, this is what I meant he did) took a half move to back up, and then used whatever he used to heal himself, putting him out of AoO range if whatever he did would have triggered an AoO. I'm still pretty bad at detailing stuff and tend to gloss over details that I really should say T.T

I'm still pretty bad at detailing stuff and tend to gloss over details that I really should say T.T I don't know, it was pretty obvious to me that something like that happened, even though I never watched or participated in RL D&D before this. Sometimes describing every detail slows down the pace, and I'd say the pace should be higher in a duel. I get that you're trying to be more descriptive in general, so I guess there should be some balance.

- Platemail - Shield and longsword - Is a knight - Healing magic in the Vincent duel (lay on hands?) So would it be safe to assume he may in fact have other DnD paladin abilities? Such as smite evil (I believe this would work on tudagub since he is evil aligned), buffs and some high resistances to magic attacks. Edit: having read up I see some of this has been brought up in the thread already.

Well I have totally no idea what you guys are talking about, so an explanation about the technicalities of the game would be nice every once in awhile, for me anyways. But whatever keeps the show entertaining takes precedence I suppose. I would say to me it is the humor that is most important and makes this show so popular, but I guess duels could get boring and scare people off if you slow them down, even though I dont see that happening with an adonis like Vincent longborn around. Keep up the good work EDIT : I get the concept of for example 'healing', but I feel like due to a lack of knowledge about the world of DnD, we are missing out on some good stuff. Besides some of these basic concepts, there is probably a bunch of stuff that the players, the other viewers and me dont know. This lack of knowledge can sometimes make for some funny moments aswell however. The inexperience of players can make for some funny and awkward moments, so I guess I shouldnt mind too much.

Sure I could learn all about DnD if I really looked into it, but for someone just watching the show, they dont know that all this stuff is going on. I personally think someone who already knows the rules of the DnD world cant imagine how it is for people who dont know these rules. If they dont get mentioned, no one will bother with it besides the people who already know something about the game. What I am getting at is that I wouldnt mind a small explanation every once in awhile about why something is played out in a certain way, but I dont need an entire textbook of rules thrown at my head. Just a small bit of explanation for the amateurs, even if its just two lines or so, would not be bad, yes?

Don't paladins get the Divine health ability in DND that makes them immune to all disease/sickness/poison, both mundane and magical? So the alternative plan of knocking out Brightblade by slipping him a sleeping potion plan wouldn't work would it?
