Hm ok. He tends to use extreme measures in situations like this though. Nothing wrong with that he plays that very consistently. We could get some party intern conflicts between the characters if they played it that way. Would be quite fun. Well tbh I have no idea why she didn't tell them they are all supposed to technically be friends. Not all friends tell each other everything. Some are more private than other. My best friend is the most closed off person I've ever met.

Yea that is true and I understand that but I mean they did help her get to that point, and Tudagub did take the fall for the killing of the alchemist so she does kind of owe them in some way, and staying closed off about everything seems to be getting them in more trouble then naught.

Well her alignment is chaotic neutral and that's how those character are. They care only for themself. So the character fits the Roleplaying quite good.

I'm not really worried though as it adds depth as long as everything is clarified and people understand he didn't really do it to ruin her "plans" all is good.

But you have to love the part where she keeps trying to charge them for stuff.

Just watched the all thing in a week or less ... Bunch of lovely people making this so good and funny.
Keep it up !

Hiya JP and co, dont usually log on TL to do stuff, but after seeing how much you guys are really getting into it. + Show Spoiler +Especially at the beginning of last episode - felt like you guys almost ambushed Neal in the beginning with the extra stuff that went down, twas brilliant. I loved seeing Neal with the expression of "wtf is going on" when Abi and Bregor went through with their plan I figured i'd log on and make the odd post to say ty for the fun.
I'll also say another thing since its sort of relevant, i loved watching SOTG back in the day. Not that i dont these days, i still watch it, but its simply way too constructive and informative. The mesh of people that used to do SOTG was amazing and went down really well to make a show that made me literally itch to get home on a day that i knew it was on so i could watch it ASAP. The reason this is relevant is because i've got that same itch for rollplay which i use to have for SOTG.
I've only been able to watch the first hour or hour and a half of the last rollplay this week and im really frustrated at the moment - i cant say no to spending time with the girlfriend and all, but i have to say i was tempted to lock myself up in the bathroom and bring my laptop in with me so i could watch through rollplay, might've been a bit suss looking though.
Back to the point - Geoff and JP - it's really great to see you both on the same show again, in a very relaxed and happy feeling atmosphere, not sure why, but i really enjoy watching you two bantering around as well as playing your characters awesomely well. As for Gen, Ryan and Neal, im new to watching you guys but in saying that, i'm loving everything that you're all doing and i hope you all have lots of fun throughout this series as i feel it translates through to the audience and i find that i enjoy myself a lot when i see you all having fun.
tldr: ty for the great show all, please dont stop drawing inappropriate objects on roll20 and talking about abi's box.

The 30min parts are just the right length for my bus ride to and from university :D
Any way for us to see your character sheets or how does that work ? :p

Let the record show that there is a new D&D podcast in the works which will feature Catz, DJWheat, and Mia Rose as the players and the owner of SC2Links (DOOM) as the DM. The working title of the podcast is "Inside The Roll."
The sponsor? Papa John's.

Catz should have made it a Root thing, and have opportunities for fans to join games. would be good marketing for his team, and a possibly way to charge fans and make some $$ off of it.
And why Mia Rose?

He obviously did it to throw a wrench in her plan (maybe not to to ruin it completely). I mean he could have asked inquired about how they met before the truth spell, yet he conveniently did it after the spell was cast. It's obvious he did it to mess up their plans, and he was also CLEARLY metagaming. I mean, I'm not bashing JP in any way, but he clearly did it to mess her plan up

It's minor. The spell he chose was meta-gaming a little, but JP (as Tudagub) has repeatedly trolled his companions. Since episode one until the present he has continued to do things like this. The spell choice was meta-gaming; messing up Abby's date wasn't meta-gaming or out of character at all though.
How else would you have expected Tudagub to react when she randomly shows up with some dude who wont be any use to him?

Have I ever claimed it was a big deal? No. Have I ever claimed Tudagub is not highly inappropriate in all manner of social situations? No. I don't really see what you're disagreeing with, when you admit to him metagaming, which is exactly what I said... He clearly used information Tudagub should not have had to mess upp Abby's plan, which is what I said. I don't think this is a particularly big deal, but when people say that he did not at all intend to ruin Abby's plans, and that he was not at all metagaming I have to disagree.
To end this post in a bit of a more positive way; love the show, it's hilarious, great job everyone involved!

I think he said it was mostly to find out what was in the box and other secrets she has, not to mess the plans with the boyfriend, I think. Also, it seems natural he'd also want to find out what's going on with the boyfriend, to size him up, find his motivation and to find out if she's really interested in him or is it just a physical thing or something.
But I agree, it did seem like he was trying to mess with her plans, at least in some part.

To end this post in a bit of a more positive way; love the show, it's hilarious, great job everyone involved! First of all he never actually knew what the boyfriend thing was about, simply that she wanted to introduce him to friends, also none of them knew the love potion was fake, so by the way things were going, her plans already failed. Not only that the truth spell in that sense would have been completely understandable due to the fact that she is up to something with a random person and lied to them multiple times before? I doubt he was meta-gaming seeing as he gets frusterated when others try to do it. Also it's hard to deduce who's meta-gaming or not based on the fact that they can all ALWAYS hear eachothers conversations and it is quite hard to not meta game, even if unintentional. You can take it as you will I guess but I seriously don't think he was.
Also it's in his nature to screw with shit just as she tries to screw them out of their gold all the time.

The last episode is up. Tomorrow at the standard time. (people living in EU, don't forget there was a daylight savings time shift)

But the important question is: does anyone really give a damn about discussing JP is he/isn't he metagaming for half a page?
