Ah kk that make sense. I guess the timing just seem rather coincidental that it would be related to Dalamar death. In regular DnD in general most item like that cost charges but I though the Dalamar rod might of been different or something.

I had to catch myself and exit the stream before witnessing epic chill inducing moments that I just now spoiled myself with (almost caught up).
Can't wait to experience it myself!

Overall just a great fucking episode! Also + Show Spoiler + -Bregor had 43 hp, took 50. As a total noob, I have to ask : dont you have to hit -10 to perm die? Or was his 1-roll (perfect last roll btw) what made it bad enough? Or do I have the HP all wrong? (I mustve missed something since I didnt find this question in the Q&A either) I'm sad Bregor's dead, but I'm excited at the same time for what his next character will be.
-Hitting the 50dmg mark on the underwater hit wouldnt have done something special, right? I was confused as to why they were looking for those last points of dmg so badly. Atleast that is what I understood from the Q&A. Maybe I missed some explanation for this somewhere.

If it's 3, then the rod's obviously not recharging anymore ;3
Anyhow, amazing episode. Thankfully mr. Tugwoggles survived!

+ Show Spoiler +Bregor took some damage before the killing blow if i remember right (the first breath(vapor)). He wasn't over 40hp if i recall right? I might be wrong though.

Im not sure if Neal works with the -10 for death or -CON for death, but no matter which, the -16 pushed him over his 15 CON.

IMO this was the best episode so far.
+ Show Spoiler + Character deaths make it much more interesting, though it would feel kinda weird if no one from the original party remained at some point.
And I thought Vincent would die 100% with the naked dragon poking, but he lives to tell the tale.

+ Show Spoiler +If a creature or character takes over 50 damage in a single hit it has to roll a save vs death or instantly die. However, as Neal explained in the Q&A somewhere, the dragon's roll would have only needed to beat a 6 so the chances of instant death were pretty slim anyway

+ Show Spoiler +Its been 8 months since the show started, and I had no idea how important these characters have come into my life. Bregor's passing really hits hard. I was genuinely sad. This was a great episode
|
+ Show Spoiler +this went from the greatest show yet to a bummer real fast. Someone find a extra point of damage missed on that dragon so we can bring bregor back
|
+ Show Spoiler +Tudagub's soul should've reached down from heaven and let Bregor reroll that save
And, I blame whoever wrote that fanfic about Vincent and Bregor.
+ Show Spoiler +The subconscious residual disgust made Neal kill Bregor so such a thing could never be written again.

InToTheWannaB, the cast members specifically requested that we don't spoil what happened for the many people who watch on youtube, you should probably put that comment in a spoiler tag..

This was definitely my favorite episode and definitely why the show deserves a 5 dollar subscription per month. Good entertainment not only has the ability to fill you full of joy ( + Show Spoiler + Vincent Longborn, slayer of evil men and dragon-beasts ), it also can take that all away and make you feel very sad.
Thank you to the rollplay crew, if I had the money I would support your streams individually through subscriptions.

No words can describe. +1 To the show being worth the subscription.

I really love this show, + Show Spoiler + Man this episode! GAH!!!!!!! I can't believe Bregor is gone!
Once again thou it has been said many a time, Thank you Neal (not neil), Gen, Ryan, JP, and Geoff you guys are so awesome for doing this show!
Man its so crazy that they killed Oris this episode and that Dalamar is still alive and that they Elven King was evil.....+ Show Spoiler +.........................

There is one saying in D&D: "Death does not necessarily mean the end of adventure" meaning in D&D spells that raise the dead are plentiful as well as Gods, Angels and Demons willing to bring people back for their own goals. Only way for character to not come back is if the player is no longer interested in playing him after death.

What a great episode. Also: + Show Spoiler +Pretty sure Bregor got the nastiest death yet in this campaign. He was boiled alive
|
I get sad now every time I look at the RollPlay Poster now, + Show Spoiler +because half the people on it are dead

It makes no sense to put spoilers in the thread, this is mostly for the people that watch the show live, if you couldn't watch this week then you should expect to see spoilers in it. (same rules as the breaking bad/game of thrones/manga threads)

I disagree. You have to remember that the Youtude VODs aren't all done. So it's just "nice" to put spoils till the youtube VODs are out.
