It's one hour per game, but it will really enhance your experience playing Witcher 3.

erhm, could you link those here?
There are many. These are the two I link most of the time, but any will do:
I both personally like very much.
Also, don't forget to pick up the books if you dig the story. Preferably before you play Witcher 3 (Witcher1/2 are good, lots of references, but not really big). Witcher 3 is not just referencing the books, but telling anything more specific would spoil the fun. JUST READ THEM!

Is it possible to play Blood and Wine using my original W3 save without having played Hearts of Stone? I forgot what level I was when I beat the game but I grinded a decent amount before finishing.

The devs say the recommended level for B&W is 34-35 because it's intended for high level (i.e. beat HoS) or NG+ players. If you're around that level area, give or take two or three levels below, you should be fine.
I just took on the weirdest and funniest sidequest. Retrieved the testicles of a statue that is said to improve virility. Almost got mistaken for being in a threeway and had to disappoint gramps.
Now I'm dealing with the medieval equivalent of the DMV oh God.
I just blazed through Heart of Stone, which was very good for its price and scope. I am looking forward to news areas to explore and hopefully some new armor. I like my Griffon Armor, but I need a new look. And hopefully they will have some more interesting weapons, rather than a new silver sword with higher numbers.
PS: The return to the game reminded me that CDPR user interface director secretly hates user interfaces and the people who use them. Every part of the Witcher is great, until you have to open a menu or use the map. Will pay money for a quick key to mark the nearest sign post on my map.
If you import it to TW2, odds are you end up selling or throwing it away because it scales so poorly. I'm pretty certain it's a fourth wall break of sorts.
