EPTThe game design seems very similar to World of tanks. Since there's about 20 000 players connected at once, the matchmaking system is really quick (30 sec to a minute). You can choose from 3 game mode: Arcade, historical battles and realistic battles. But 95 % of the people play arcade mode, so it's a bit harder to find realistic matches (you will problem get match with AI's if noboby queues). The arcade battles consist of a 16 vs 16 fight (Axis vs allies), you must kill everyone or complete the objective to win.
When you win a match, you get XP, and so you can unlock more planes when you reach higher levels. You can also buy in-game money (with real money) to unlock planes, armament, cammos, etc (I have not really explored this area yet, but it seems wide). The graphics are really similar to sturmovik cliffs of dover.
I will be honest, this game is not really a flight simulator, as a FSX, XPlane and DCS P-51 player, this game feels like flying a voidray or a muta. The advanced mode has some realist elements I must say, but It's nothing comparable to DCS P-51. (my Saitek X52 works but the pedals do not work).
The reason I liked this game is the multiplayer apsect, even thought it's not a simulation, the online experience is really fun. It's probably the only combat flight game with an active multiplayer. If they can manage to improve the realistic mode this game could be a huge succes. But as I said, the fun is there anyway. The game is free and easy to download.
