First time posting a thread, but I thought it was warranted. What is space station 13?

The brief overview from http://nanotrasen.com/
/tg/station 13 is a paranoia-laden roleplaying game set against the backdrop of a nonsensical, metal death trap masquerading as a space station. The game is 2D, sprite, and tile-based. It's written in BYOND, which accounts for its attrocious controls and limited graphical capability. Despite its shortcomings, it's amazingly fun for what it is. Prepare to lose many hours to it.
From http://nanotrasen.com/wiki
Space Station 13 is a two dimensional, multiplayer, role playing game developed on Byond.
The game takes place on a fully destructable space station which is in orbit of a nearby gas giant.
The primary purpose of the station is to research a newly discovered material called Plasma. Unfortunately Nanotrasen, the megacorp which owns Space Station 13 is not the only corporation interested in this mysterious new substance. Dealing with the threats posed by the many enemies of Nanotrasen becomes an important part of the daily lives of the crew.
The game begins in the game lobby where you can customize your character and select which job you would like him to have. Jobs range from the captain, to the heads of staff, to engineers, medical doctors, scientists, security officers, atmospheric technicians, the chef, bartender as well as the occasional clown to lighten the mood.

I just heard about this game recently from a friend, and was honestly astounded I'd never heard of it before. Imagine a game played in intense hour long rounds where you role play one of the crew members of a fully functioning space station, complete with labs, engineering, botany, mining, and even robotics, genetics, and a played controlled ship Ai that can open doors (or electrocute people if it's hijacked). Now on top of the difficulties of running the ship, there are randomly chosen enemies for each round. These can be syndicate agents looking to steal items or assassinate specific crew members, revolutionaries who can indoctrinate others to their cause and want to kill the captain+all the division heads, cultists, aliens, zombies, even wizards. A few players are randomly selected (depending on preferences you set) to be secret antagonists, all are assigned jobs on the ship, and the round starts.
Typically, the situation on ship soon devolves into blood stained, flickering lights, robots-gone-haywire chaos, as the infiltrators hijack and abuse all the ship's complex systems and items, while the rest of the crew attempts to hold things together long enough for the traitors to be exposed and eliminated, or failing that, make it to the escape shuttle in time for launch.
Sounds deep, yes? Maybe too deep for an internet world filled with trolls who enjoy ruining things? Fortunately there are admins on each server who monitor the action, ensuring that the game is kept as realistic as possible (for example, spreading info in chat about what killed you after you're dead is disallowed... Though you CAN be brought back to life as a clone or cyborg with some memories intact).
Game is free to play, would love to get some tl members involved and maybe have our own ss13 server.
