team aerial combo. basically allows you to extend combos by switching between characters mid combo. you pick the direction you want to TAC and the opponent has the opportunity to break the TAC if they guess right.

You'll switch what character you're using mid aerial combo and continue it. Some teams make great use of it beause they can build a shit ton of meter, like Champ's team.

Also, X-Factor has strategic properties. If you are attacking, you can X-Factor to cancel recovery of an attack and follow up with a longer combo (or surprise attack if the opponent is blocking.) If you are defending, you can cancel your block stun and proceed with a counter.

So even though X-Factor with one character is the most powerful, you will situationally see early X-Factors.

Yes, it does, it has 3 levels, depending on how many characters you have. The degree of damage and speed boost, as well as the time it lasts, increases with each level.

Meters are used for hyper moves, crossover counters, and other special techniques. They don't give you more damage, but they can be used to get you more damage.

tac = team areal combo it's when one character is doing a combo then jumps out only to have another character continue it.

if you land a tac down you get a meter, if you tac side your opponent loses a meter, and you can tac up but it's worse than the other 2. The catch is that if your opponent guesses the direction you are tacing, they will counter it and your combo is over. That is the only reason people tac up, because their opponent won't counter that way

recently people discovered you can get infinites off of tacs for a lot of characters, but only one has been landed perfectly on stream so far.

X-factor cancels supers too.
