Thinking about pikcing it up right now but when I play an MMO I want there to be enough content and shit to fully devote myself to the game. Any insight on how it is so far? Looks cool and is a bit different, party system seems nice and Final Fantasy environment and musics are awesome. That's pretty much it but I only started yesterday.

I think the gameplay is pretty similar to WoW, with the global cooldowns etc, but it has been a long time since a played WoW so can't really say. I like that you are forced to lvl another class for the jobs, cuts down on the alts for me. The dungeons are fun, really fast queues too, I haven't waited for more than a minute. I play a healer though. Worth checking out imo, if only for the "new MMP experience" with crowded zones etc

considering everything i've done so far isnt even endgame content. The mechanics are pretty good; i was expecting alot less. You get a nice reward after finishing the main quest line as well. Some screenshots I took during the last battles. SPOILERS: + Show Spoiler + Let me know if you have any questions about the game up until hard mode instances.

I have a lvl 50 black mage (not legacy) and some experience with a 35 conj in the beta so I cant say how white mage or scholar healing is. I would say that starting the the mid 30's the group content get more interesting. The dungeons definitely scale in difficulty as you lvl up. Theyve also tuned the end bosses of the earlier end bosses a little better since the beta. Im waiting for the rest of my free company to finish the main quests so we can start on the actual end game content, but so far, the lvling content is pretty good. This is coming from someone what has done wow progression and crunched through tera hard modes.

Healing is healing, no special mechanics outside of what you're used to. healing can be very boring or very rewarding, it completely depends on the game. WoW healing for example is ok, you have multiple healers and they all have their little mechanics and specialties. EQ2 healing was super fun because it had 3 types of healers: guys who are giving huge shields, guys who are giving buffs that heal for each time getting hit and guys who have insane HoTs. Plus a bazillion utility spells and emergency heals. Vanguard also had cool healing by having the bloodmage, most fun healer class in an mmo. Other games have boring healing by either not being challenging or having really bland healer classes that have absolutely no specialt and are just there to have longer fights.

Also, how many notable NA companies abandoned the PC and cry pirates? Youtube is not popular in Japan, nor is Twitch, majority of videos and streaming are watched via NicoNicoDouga, i dont even think they have a monetization option on their site, they probably dont see a pay off for allowing US/EU Streamers and Youtubers to gain cash off their product, if it hurts them as much as people claim it does, then why complain? let them hurt themselves. Maybe abandon was too strong of a word, but many NA companies outsource a bad port PC game these days or they dont port them at all, Square has had the best PC publisher line up of all publishers recently, even if they are games you dont like or want to play, they where damn good ports.

e; Maybe it feels so slow because I'm leveling as a CNJ. I grabbed Thunder from THU but it wasn't as good as I thought it'd be. Maybe the level 4 ARC skill is better.. I dunno. It's just if I ever level out with my quests I feel like I'll just kill shit too slow. e2; I play on Ixion so msg me if you play on that server if you ever need a CNJ/WHM (when I get to it :D)
