Fresh life- right next to Kamarovo, figured I would start a circuit by heading through the industrial area at the docks. See one zombie so crawl the way to the doors. Open the double doors met by 2 guys with axes yelling at me to run. Broken leg from axe to the face - dead. Fun stuff. (I dont mind the pvp so much, just when you have absolutely nothing and I started to run already. They could of just let me go) Next life spawn down near Kamenka - start making a circuit through all the deer stands. Get to around the 4th one - up the ladder (Still hadn't actually found a weapon by this point), sniper shoots me at the top of the ladder - took him 3 shots. Only played an hour, Think I need to wait until the steam sale comes on so my friends will actually buy the game to try it out and I can have a safety net. At the moment playing solo is pretty much a death sentence.

Its all about avoiding the "popular" places unless your ready to lose your gear willingly. Most of the time you gotta be ready to lose the gear but you want to atleast have a choice.

I dont really mind dieing in the popular areas because Im looking out for it. Its more when you die in the middle of no where from a shot you cant even see that frustrates me the most...Or getting killed 100 meters from where I spawned.

Second, you got really unlucky getting shot in those deer stands, having a sniper in that area looking for people looting them is really unlucky. on a 20 / 30 people server you wont get that all the time, the map is huge, and you can also see this as "I could have see the sniper when he was looking in another direction, shot him in the back and gain myself a mothafucking sniper", always watch your surrounding with the Alt key, and try to spot before getting spotted, obviously some part of it is just random but thats why it's fun ![]()

Spawn a Komarovo, Nothing. Spawn again at Elektro, get a hatchet, head to the fire station, find AKM, see the doors open from outside the window. Kill a guy on the stairs, kill a 2nd guy in the lobby.. Cee and someone else, i forget who... ALICE pack, fully med'd out, food/water, all the useful tools. So i'm apparently set after 10 minutes of playing, rofl. edit: also apparently, Cee and hugitout are TL members.. whoops!

This x10 Hate getting killed randomly when I'm running in the middle of nowhere especially when I'm on a server with less than 10 people.

Thanks for putting jerry cans in it. I ran out of gas before ever getting near a gas station. Re-hid it. Hope it stays there. LOL

Logging into my usual server in the barracks would be suicide, so I wait until 5 AM this morning and pick a random GMT-8 server with a single person on it. I bet you can see where this is going... Not only was that lone person in the north barracks, he was even in the same room that I d/c'd in, sitting in the corner. I literally went from loading, to the 'You are dead' screen, three gunshots in between. Lost a ghillie suit, an alice pack, a few decent weapons, and a full set of tools. Lesson learned: as the number of people on a server decreases, the percentage of those people that are camping at the airfield increases dramatically.

There's no penalty for dying besides losing your stuff, and you start out with almost nothing. It's frustrating as all hell at first, but every death is a learning experience.

I found a tent and a spool of razor wire last night. I was so pumped.... until I got plugged while scavenging on the roof of the school in Cherno. Went into shock and bled out. People seem friendly on Atlanta 69 for the most part though. EDIT: With the exception of that guy who shot me of course.
