Well today i decided to sneak out to the Balota airfield. I dont care if I have nothing but a makarov. I dont care if people have been camping Balota all day, I dont care if there are 49 other people on this server... I want a real weapon. I get to the airfield, first thing I notice while approaching from the north through the cover of the woods: the door to the tower is closed. This means someone is inside the tower, under the stairs, waiting for someone to open those doors. Or best case, he is in the top of the tower.... forget him. Ill just sneak through the whole in the fence and into the first hanger. Crouch and walking, i slip by the tower into hanger number 1. Some AK ammo and M16 Ammo... not bad, but currently useless until i find either of those weapons, toss em in my backpack. Poke my head out of the first hanger, no sign of anyone still. If he is in the tower he doesnt see me. I crouch walk into the 2nd hanger, no zombies= no shooting. Sweet. Grab a couple more misc mags, toss em in my backpack just in case. And then.. I spot it. A DMR with 3 magazines.. SCORE!....wait i hear flies... this might be a trap. After a minute of deliberation... ima make a run for it. I run over to the DMR, snatch it up and the magazines... I need to gtfo off this airfield... Book it north back into the woods, no point in looking for any other supplies, I found exactly what I needed... Into the woods, I crouch run/walk all the way to the Northern woods of Cherno. Its dark, I cant see more than a foot in front of me the entire way, but the chances of seeing a zombie or even a person in those woods... not to high. I am safe. ... After a 10-20 minute run I finally see the industrial buildings on the northern side of Cherno. I decide since its dark, and most of the map is nearly pitch black, I am going to crawl to the tallest building. I refuse to stand for even a single second... my goal: get on the tallest building in cherno and rain down hell.... 15 minutes of crawling through the darkness. I hear zombies on both sides of me. I hear someone shooting and in the imediate area. I freeze, "holy shit! NO! I AM SO CLOSE" and begin to turn. There is a survivor perched on some metal catwalk... with hoard of zombies working their way up. all I can see are the muzzle flashes of his fires. He is within 75 yards, but I can only see his flashes, and he seems unhittable due to the metal catwalks all around him... I dont think he sees me... hell I dont even see me... keep crawling, get to that tower.... I dont think he saw me... I think he was just killing zombies that he had aggroed... 15 seconds later... grenade goes off in my headphones, "EXPLETIVE THAT I WONT WRITE!"... "goddamnit.. wtf..." and then i look at the screen: X is dead... X is dead... X is dead.... all 50 people killed at once..... tldr: Got a DRM, snuck halfway through cherno without shooting or being seen, with a close call.... hacker all kills the server.... fml. LA 2 server just all-kill hacked...again. 3rd day in row... 5-6th time in 2 days ive seen it happen. | ||

These kind of games are perfect for e-machochists. And seems to be plenty of them around considering the popularity of this game. These stories sound a lot like Fallout Online ones except there nobody takes down whole server. | ||

Also, what's the deal with the NwO you guys are talking about? And is there a way to identify certain people in-game, like how could I know if I'm killing TL'ers or not? We should have like a secret handshake/move or something. Like double teabag, lean left, salute and sit down for example. | ||
