All it does is draw attention to your base. If you see barbed wire/bunker walls in the middle of the forest its kind of a giant give away. noone is using it to protect their camps like rocket intended. People are using it to grief/block buildings so people cant loot them without server hopping. And all they do is cause the graphical glitches that has made the airfields/barracks unlootable in most servers. | ||

Yeah I was gonna say I got someone earlier in elektro too and didn't get a kill message. I was just running round with an MK48, got 220 zombies in elektro and only one murder, and that's cos he was sneaking around my zombie killing building with an axe. | ||

You must be really lucky overall, my experiences with hackers are usually one hour apart. Two days ago I had just set up a camp started putting my extra stuff in it, went to NWAF killed a sniper took his SVD camo and 12 mags back to the tent. 10 minutes later 3 helicopters appear one flies into my tent one other crashes into me killing me the third I have no idea where it went as I was busy being dead. I come back to where I died and my body was hidden, tent flattened and my pedal bike was destroyed.. Edit: I still love Day Z I just can't seem to get most of my friends play it because they hate all the hackers. I have had 4 friends uninstall Arma yesterday because every time we would log in and play within a hour we were all teleported to debug plains or thunderdome. I will probably just end up quitting because I want to play with my friends but unfortunately hacks to good | ||
