It won't be a full release, Rocket has stated multiple times that he is going to be doing the Minecraft model, where he releases a paid alpha that increases in price as features are added.
On what engine? are they just going to build it from the ground up? if thats the case it will take a long time.

DayZ Commander much better.
Side Note Dafaq is the "Dibz" calling on gear/ammo. That come from D3? I am unfamiliar
Don't take offense if someone doesn't want to tell you/take you to their camp location. You just have to play with a group for a little while so they can trust you. There are community tents that Maestro has set up if you need to store stuff.
If your at NWAF on foot and a Large Group is in Berenzhino your probably not going to make it there by the time they are finished doing whatever they where doing.

Real Virtuality 4. Same engine Arma 3 uses. Arma 2 uses RV3, Arma:AA uses RV2 and Operation flashpoint uses RV1
I guess a big issue in DayZ going stand alone in that case might be that BIS wants to finish Arma 3 or rather the RV4 engine before starting a new project that will require different things to be added to the engine. My guess would be no sooner then after the Arma 3 community alpha has been going on for a month or two (October/November-ish).

Yeah. I recommend dropping your pack before putting one on (heard stories it can poof your pack) but otherwise they are fine. I put one on about an hour ago and it's all good.
