Will trade DMR if you want? Come on TS when you can, I'm currently around the NE airfield
Would love a DMR, unfortunately I should have specified that I'm at work and won't be on til this evening US (~6.5 hrs or so). Will edit that in my post.
Saw your edit, think you'll be on around then? Also, that DMR come with any mags? :p
Also I'm north of cherno so the chances of me actually surviving the journey to nw airfield may be slim lol
DMR comes with 3 mags, and I'll probably be on. Just to clarify, its NE airfield, not NW. Also I might be nearer by that point, just ask when you're on and if its not too far I'll be happy to meet you

There are people playing alone, there are people gathering and forming groups, there are people who love PvP and camp NW airfield all day long. All these ways to play are legit to me. I reckon that using TS may not be the way the game is supposed to be played. However, there is a reason why TL members play on TL Atlanta 69. That's simply because people want to play together.
This is a PvP game above all, true that. But TL is a community you know, so I say Teamspeak is a great complementary tool. Personally I don't mind people gathering in secure channels and all that. I just don't want to get ganked by fellow TL'ers when playing on ATL69. If TL'ers start killing each other and stealing stuff from each other, then what's the point of playing on the TL server as a TL member?
Regardless of what you might think of the server. It is not a safe haven for TL'ers simple as that. You cannot afford to hesitate when you see somebody. If you think twice or jump on direct chat you expose yourself to the target. That can and will get you killed but that's just the nature of the game. In the group I play with they tend to be really good at communicating with one another. So I always know where they are at all times regardless. Instinctively I will shoot on sight and others will do the same. So how about this next time you see somebody running around. Take a moment pause and hop up a channel in TS. Now you can't sit there and tell me that is a smart choice. Only way I can see that you might have time is if your sniping then maybe. Other than that I see no other chance for you to "confirm" the target as un-hostile. That is just how people been playing as of late and the people who take the time to jump up a channel usually end up with the short end of the stick.
This pretty much. Im not hopping channels to ask if someone is somewhere. Now If Im sniping and Im far away and see someone it doesn't take long to send a message to anyone.
I would say for the most part everyone knows where the other groups are. We usually know if we are going somewhere and just ask before we get there. Usually if a TL kills another TL its sometimes in transit to a major place or in the country side.
Personally I enjoy refilling the tents that the "casual" guys set up (: I usually hit up Stary solo when I first log in to grab whatever guns and ammo is there and dump it into our tents.

You seem to like lurking in the woods with a DMR and nearly getting shot too

I don't know what you're talking about
So I just logged in, it said "Paqman was killed" In the side chat. But I'm not dead.. I have broken bones and all my shit is gone, but I logged in where I logged out at last night. I also have the same amount of blood I had when I logged out, and I can still run.
I think I might have gotten killed by someone in debug forest while my character was loading.
Nope! Happened to me too. Server thinks you died but it still loaded you at your old location alive, so you didn't respawn with stuff. You have to kill yourself now.

aww, well thanks. I'm close to a tent so I'll just hit up some deer stands then rearm there.
Edit: Lmao. So I logged out earlier, logged back in and I spawned at the spot where the server "killed" me. Except this time I have all my stuff that I lost earlier! This is pretty epic

Similar thing happened to me the couple of nights ago, was a bit annoying as I'd abandoned my run around firing on full auto policy and was making a genuine attempt to survive. As I had broken bones and no morphine I just hit respawn, which I now see may not have been correct. Meh.
They have a hotfix in testing right now but it doesn't seem to be all peaches and cream. Zombies seem to be just stuck on the coast line but inland are fine.
Seems heli crash sites are hard to loot now because of zombies respawning over and over again.

Also more zombies on the server at around 800.
Zombie instant respawn and the high zombie number is just for testing according to one of the staff, a good way to test server stability.
Just bought Arma II Combined Ops on steam, and holy shit it's massive. Do I need to install both parts for DayZ to work? It's like 17GB and I'm downloading at 150kb/s ._.
So if I'm just getting into gaming and I want starcraft 2, it could cost me around $550. Because I'd have to buy a computer able to handle it as well as the game. So starcraft 2 costs $550.
Frankly that's bullshit logic.
Apples and bananas son.
But whatever. I will buy it for Summer Sale! hope we meet each other on the field.
