I mean, do you want to have all this stuff just to have it or is there some sort of Area that is highly dangerous and you want to pass it. Or do you want to kill other people with it until you die yourself? You want the high end stuff cause it's badass. You have to remember this is only a alpha build of the game so it's only going to get better. Each life you learn from your previous on how to survive better. When I first started playing I died alot. Then I was to cautious you will find the perfect blend for your style. The attraction of the loot is kinda hard to explain I mean the good stuff is like guns a ghillie a vehicle and a tent basically. Now if you where playing cod you would think that's crap and probably easy to get. Here survival is so important that when you get your hands on a badass gun you appreciate it. At times you are forced to go into dangerous areas for supplies you need to survive up north. I haven't been to electro or Cherno in a long time but I will have to go eventually for morphine and blood bags nothing sucks more than being country side with a broken leg and bleeding with meds. Heck I caught a cold and bk had to come save my ass. I've saved dark before and others it's a really cool dynamic. Almost like a suprise mission. Or say you need ammo or looking for a backpack and you go with someone else and they provide cover with a sniper of the town while you look around its so cool. There are dangerous areas and most of those dangerous areas have veteran players that might be out to get you. Noobs and vets alike mostly know those dangerous areas. Tents in stary, nw airfield, ne airfield, elektro, cherno, but you can honestly get killed at random deer stand in the middle of nowhere and that's what makes the game so good. Right now I am semi complacent because I'm on a pretty good geared character that is 2 in game days old my best character yet. When I get around a town though alert mode kicks in cause random Guy with a hatchet could jump out and kill me while I'm looting the grocery store. I suggest you read some of the dayz diary stories it's really cool.

It's going to take a few lives just to scratch the surfaces and you will die fast but you learn. I have been playing a ton for about 2 weeks. I haven't drove anything to include a bike, I haven't gotten a ghillie suit used or used a range finder. I haven't even shot anyone with my don't yet except a zombie and a sheep

Are they all the same or do they have differences?

The servers are the same except maybe difficulty differences which are recruit, regular and veteran (i believe is what they are called) the differences in difficulty are things like being able to scroll wheel to see distances or types of buildings regardless of having a range finder. You can also scroll wheel to see another players name and a cross hair in the middle of your screen regardless of where you are. TL server is basically Veteran the hardest difficulty except it allows 3rd person. You get no distance markers, no player names, no cross hairs. Last difference is time, you may play on one server and its daytime and another is night or it could be raining on one and foggy on another.

ghillie, nvg, range finder, gps, every tool in game, m4a1 cco SD, m9sd, coyote backpack, 2x each med supply. body was impossible to retrieve due to the location of the cliff so it just rotted. oh well i have doubles or triples of everything except my extra ghillie's and camo suits disappeared and no extra gps or range finder ![]() i basically have everything in the game with the exception of a chopper. not quite sure what to do anymore besides run around and kill everybody for the sake of killing them

Jed is an EVE Online Corpmate of Tofu, hugitout, and myself. We have been trying to teach him the game, but it has been interesting.

We ran out to a heli crash in the middle of the airfield and picked up two FN FALs and an M14 AIM, with no cover or anything, and we didn't get shot or even see anyone. Pretty weird, considering it was a 45 pop server. Nice timing I guess

The second time around I scored a kill and damaged one other with a m107.
