based on this there is no way both the CoH2 sales totals and the Rome2 sales totals are correct. based on Steam player totals i'd say the Rome2 numbers are legit and the CoH2 #s are bull. based on that i'd say CoH2 has 90,000 units sold. This is also the VGChartz.com total. Sega did a great job of getting other people to do their lying for them though.. in their previous "earnings/investor call" that cryptic chart was epic... the fan boys gobbled it up.

customers have to spend $8-$13 to get units and abilities in the multiplayer? http://store.steampowered.com/sub/34424/ Relic/Sega is just squeezing their most loyal customers for every dime.

I was going to pre-order for £40 but feel like I sidestepped a landmine because i've heard nothing but bad things about P2W commanders, input lag not being fixed and a low player base. Real shame, I had high hopes for CoH 2. Same here. I had it preordered and canceled because of how bad the beta was. Just gonna fuck around in f2p weekend though because the game is highly entertaining in team modes.

So I just bought this last weekend, is any1 here still playing and is there still a Teamliquid group or anything? Are there any good replays to watch to understand the deeper meta of the game? atm only playing as Ostheer. quick (and stupid questions): - do Mines deal FF ? do my own mines trigger by my own units or can I safely walk/drive over them? :O - Im getting weird Spikes that last for 3 seconds or longer, after them the game resumes at high speed until im caught up with the game, why is that? is that a known issue? couldnt find anything about that. (my internet should be good enough, 100mb/s).

2. might be some connection issue, take a look at this thread for solutions. http://community.companyofheroes.com/forum/company-of-heroes-2/faq-known-issues/29785-network-connection-troubleshooting also if you are looking for resources for the CoH franchise check out coh2.org.

from what I understand is that each Squad has a Health Bar that decreases every time they get shot, Units in that Squad can die with every shot but it happens random, the chance that someone dies in a Squad gets higher if the squad health is lowered(also crit chance gets higher with lower enemy hit points). Did I get that right? Another assumption: When a Squad loses a member, the whole squad deals less damage, is there a way to tell how much dmg a unit deals in numbers? My German Engineer Squad lost units Quicker than Russian Enginner Squads in a 1v1 fight (1sq vs 1sq). Was it just random or are German Squads generally weaker in combat? How can I know these things when dmg and HP arent shown in the UI?

Each bolt action rifle does 16 dmg per hit so it's 5 hits to kill but to represent germans having better training and experience than soviet conscripts, grenadiers have much higher accuracy values so they roll hits more often than conscripts. Which entity in a squad takes hits is beyond your control and sometimes your health can get really low without losing an entity so it appears that the chance of entities dying in a squad increases as the health gets lower. When you see a man in a full health squad die after one volley of shots is where that one entity gets hit at the same time unfortunately. Here's a spreadsheet of all the weapon damage output. Each value is for the range and also for one weapon so you need to multiply by the amount of squad members. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ApmrrrPr20ncdGF4VURuYjVGZXlIN3ptbV8tbzRzN0E&usp=drive_web#gid=0

He doesn't, but his buddies will pick up his weapon so you don't actually lose it. and there are infantry criticals like you'll see your flamethrower guy explode into a ball of flame sometimes if you're unlucky. The engineer versus engineer has a lot to do with distance and cover as well. The Germans at close range will obliterate you since they have mp40s whereas the Russians have rifles so you want to keep distance. If you try to close on Russian engineers in cover this will end poorly for you though.
