You didn't need to succeed in order to complete the quest though and the wedding dress characters are quite good, (+6 HP and only costing 1DP), but I agree the cost is not worth it, unless you have an unlimited source of income.
The new "swimwear" characters are also quite nice and work quite nicely vs. NPC's aswell (since bosses allmost allways have higher health then you).

Theres a pvp deck which basically... never loses which i've been theorycrafting with a friend
After making it it's absurdly imba, the problem is just a few characters hardcounter it
Cross fingers and hope people don't run those cards looool
It's now no1 on ladder :D
edit:
Wedding dress characters ARE worth it,, and imho are probably the best characters in the game

The quest was "successfully upgrade a follower". Trust me, if it didn't need to be successful, I would have been a lot happier.

Only Rose and Clarice have decent abilities, the other ones are absolutely not viable. Even for Rose and Clarice, you're talking about ~$120 for their wedding versions, whereas you can get a transform which is almost as good for closer to $20. $120 wouldn't be good value even for the best character in the game. That's kind of my point.

Is seeker/dressup smartylane good for PvE? Seems like it could go nicely with child sigma too. But I already have a lot of large size followers.

It is if you're no 1 on the ladder and win 1500 dollars

Kind of a silly argument for determining a card's worth imo. Most people are not going to be in that situation. In a F2P game, nothing is "worth" $100. It's not "worth" it to upgrade a follower either, whether it happens to be in your ladder-winning decklist or not, the value is horrible. However, that doesn't mean it isn't worthwhile to the individual or doesn't make them happy. Lots of people spend thousands of dollars on stuff that isn't worth anything, and they are perfectly content.

To see his composition, hope you get matched up against him. Play a stall deck. Write down every card he plays!

I think the child cyclers are better, but they cost 19 more points per deck, so the opportunity cost is an additional rare for ladder. The extra 6 health that the wedding dress provides, I don't think, overpowers the extraordinarily imba cycling ability.
Are there any decks near the top of the ladder without any spells?
Pilgrimage is extraordinarily good with meadow leisure.

Why on earth would you play a deck without spells?

The better question would be: Is there any decks that are near the top of the ladder without any followers?

That must be some kind of uber stall/removal deck with a cycling character card. I would imagine a lot of Impulse, Evil Eye, Shoddy Magic, Mass Recall, and Balance :p
|
It's a control deck with wedding dress rosa
It's not my deck though, but it was just a theorycrafted deck that came into reality
i was playing my shitty clarice that didn't get anywhere, i'm back to NDV and went 9-1 today but it's too late

OH GOD THIS GAME SO GRIND

Awwww shit..... This is so dumb. I get boned 6/7 sequences for 3 dungeon fights in a row. How do I reset my RNG seed? Does relogging do it? Or did they change the AI so that friendly followers ALWAYS attack highest hp targets while enemy followers ALWAYS attack lowest hp targets?
Edit: 4 fights in a row now. Hmmmm. Did they patch how dungeon AI works?
|
my dungeon got reset at lvl 29/30..... what is the reset mechanics?
|
IF you're losing to dungeons, your deck basically isn't good enough I lose once in a while, but vs osses it doesnt take more than 1-2 tries 90% of the time
If you lose to the boss you get sent to the first floor, so bring some tokens!

It just seems that dungeon enemies blatantly cheat by packing 3 copies of double rares and stacked RNG.
7 turns in a row, not one of my followers attacks the 14 0 1 on the enemy field...
Like the R. Viognier character in the vampire lands dungeon. I lose 8 times in a row, yet in each of those 8 tries, there were plays where I would have won with 75%+ probability... :/
What...... Now the enemy characters 3 games in a row have consecutive-turn spell all-ins that all fizzle. What is wrong with this RNG. There is no way that is a uniform distribution.
LOL! Then on the boss (I only have 12 spells in my deck) I shuffle 3 times, get 3 hands of all 5 spells. WHAT!?!??!

Do people get rid of all the standard size 5 followers (no special power) and use spells to buff small size fellowers?
