I tried to do the crux dungeon, but I had great difficulty before I even reached the boss. I got stuck around level 29. Realizing that if I can't even convincingly beat those later levels, beating the boss would be close to impossible, so I thought to myself: screw it, I'm gonna improve my horrible deck first then I'm gonna come back and own this shit. So here I am, grinding for vanguard (then sinclair), hoping that its presence would be enough to solidify my deck. ![]() I'm probably building this all wrong like going 2rax without an expansion lol

But I noticed that adding Pintail back into my deck pretty much hard counters the level 29 npc's deck. Once I did that he was no problem. For Sigma all you need to do is snowball as hard as you can on the first turn and she can't stop you. Maybe if she plays a good hand on the first turn you'll have trouble, but other than that I don't think she's anything special. Just be aware of her ability at all times. I think most people make sure to keep followers in slots 1 or 3 and always end with 2 or 4 cards in their hand. EDIT: Just looked at her deck and I guess she has Mother Demon Rumor. That's a good reason to play followers in slot 1 and 3.

IMO, the ultimate goal of a crux deck is to get one to two large snowballed followers and keep them protected from removal so they keep the enemy field clear. You have way too many small followers. Swarming isn't a great idea in pve, the boss decks especially have better cards and better character abilities, so generally you want big, tough guys, with a handful of smaller ones to buffer for spell swap and to pump your big follower. Followers: I'd take out the new knight, seinfields, and Terras, and an escort knight or two. Add in two more marksmen, two more blue cross federine, and some seeker melissa. Spells: as mentioned, kana is really good. Get 2 ASAP. I'd honestly just get rid of all your removal abilities. They don't mesh well with kana, and your followers can deal with anything the opponent has, unless your 40/2/30 snowball got swapped, in which case you could've played better, and you're gonna lose anyway. Furthermore, ditch saint's blessing and empowering chant, get more chrono clocks and power control. Maybe close encounters as well. Edit: also, assuming you've got some spare swords lying around, upgrade your character to child sigma. The same or better buff per turn, and the cycling nature of the card means you can never be decked, somewhat useful against the stupid witch tower boss.

The medium dungeons are probably a lot faster, they give colored ore straight up. Later floors give 3-4 each. Ore won't be a problem for you if you grind, I have between 500-1k of every color even after using all of my cat dolls.

A decent and cheap dungeon grinding setup Ive found is 3x 2S Agent Nine, 3x maid revolution, 3x New maid training and 3x maid guard/whatever best size 3 maid you have. Just shuffle on first round and get yourself an agent, a buff and a maid out. Cast a buff every turn so you don't attack first. Edit: lineage maintenance is probably cheaper anyways.

Yup, that's a very good strategy for practically every faction. For Vita, it's something like Vernika+Celine+Uni Tweak and use a combination of buffs/Student Justices for a similar effect. "Neutral" cards are actually a part of the Sword Girls faction, so anything that refers to matching factions will work on them, but they're not compatible with any other factions. It's essentially the 5th faction.
