Tier 2 to Tier 5 (despite the ridiculously short trash respawn times before they changed it) was the golden age of wow pve, as much as I loathe wow now, if I had the opportunity of replaying vanilla and early bc as they were then, I would do so again. Of the top 5 most memorable boss kills I've had, all were during that time.

World bosses were frustrating and fun at the same time, oh the joy of screwing over green dragon/kazzak raids over and over again, the long fights of attrition to see who would give up first... wasting entire nights/mornings on that shit

The thing that would draw me to be excited for the next expansion was just the absolute end boss. In TBC you had Illidan (well, not so end boss), WotLK you had Lich King and Cataclysm you had Deathwing. I haven't watched the panels but it immediately looks uninteresting to me already. What's the story to the new expansion?

I think it looks kinda cool. The battlegrounds they are adding sound awesome and some of the key feature look good. Ill probably play it again at launch for at least a month and give it a shot.

WoW has fallen from grace since bc, and now it's a total joke. I went into a vent server with WoW players that I know irl and they were all going crazy about how they loved it, ohh blizzard sure knows its target market..

The Pandaren made WC3 just that extra bit cooler. How can so many people be against this? Seriously, the trailer might not have been that impressive but it's the return of the fucking Pandaren. That's not ruining WoW, that's saving it.

i play wow alot and the Pandas are still a mystery to me but the new zones looks cool and all the new features seem good. I will continue to play wow till I find another MMO that is better than it as I love the MMO genre, looks like that will be GW2 but who knows when that is coming out.

I really dont see what people have against the pandas. We already have taurens which are talking cows. O wait, people complained about the talking cows too back before the game was released. People just dont seem to understand Warcraft at all. Warcraft games (less so the lore though) has a sense of humor to it.

Pandas is not a new concept in warcraft and no its not because kung fu panda came out recently. The introduction of pandarians has been speculated since vanilla. Pandas are part of Warcraft lore and they are in the novels and I beleive were one of the youngest azeroth races to appear. Along with night elves and taurens.

I for one welcome the change. It sucks that they dont seem to introduce any new villain but at same time as a previous follower of warcraft lore, I dont know what else they can introduce anymore. They have to start coming up with new villains. Any villians that exist in lore would surely be weaker than the likes of arthas and deathwing. However a new class is always cool and I like the change in scenery.

I think the only thing that excited me on that list of changes aside from the talent revisions was the fact that World Bosses will return, one of the things I missed from Vanilla / BC
