Since this is most likely free (after you pay for SC2, of course) I'll definitely give this a shot when I'm too scared to ladder  Also seems far more basic and intuitive than Dota propers, with seemingly fewer heroes? (But I reckon no less fun) | ||

On one hand the trailer goes "no purpose except for ladder points" and at the same time Blizzard is trying to have a casual approach to this. In the panels they show that you use the matchmaking button to find opponents but still it could be like Diablo 3 arena where they hide your ladder ranking? Edit:I found the answer. This picture shows that it is like SC2, there is a ladder and if you don't want to play ladder there are private games as well. Blizzdota ladder-private games | ||

I didn't stop playing Dota because of it's interface. I stopped because I didn't want to play Dota anymore. Personally looking very forward to Blizzards dota and think it could easily take a bunch of people from the other games. | ||
