It seems you have bad luck, but don't cry about it. Turns out some of the "dumb things" were bugs, but it still damn sucked real hard. The bad luck streak is pretty relevant still, most new people who come here encounter one and just get turned off, it's even worse if someone's camping around town too (last round). Anyways, you make it sound like I should join a faction and leech off them, now that's hardly fair is it? Don't let people hear you saying this isn't hardcore. | ||

find a forest. cut down a tree make a pickaxe get some cobble stone make stone tools + sword and a furance turn Wood into charcoal by burning wood hoe alot of stuff while cutting as much long grass as possible to get seeds. since you are in a forest you WILL find plenty of mushrooms (and in the open areas, there WILL be cows/pigs) eventually find iron with your tools, use it using charcoal to smelt it. get a bucket after a pick with your iron. make a wheat farm have enough food for a long time and be well off. i Literally just did that the past 30 minutes, i left my faction with nothing in inventory, and went to a remote forest and set up a house + farm +bed +tools. if i can do it in 30 minutes, you can do it. | ||

I am in the middle of a forest, there are seriously no mushrooms, and when spawns were bugged there weren't any mobs at all, maybe a single zombie every other night. My broken /home and lack of sheep/spiders for wool made it almost impossible for me to do anything as well since I just could not set up a base or go back to an area I had staked out since I kept getting killed in various ways. I got everything going now though, except some dick trampled my crops. I have to say it was a very precise trampling, only the plots with crops were trampled. I know what to do, I just had a string of really bad luck. | ||

Everybody Else...that actually cares, Faction Epic needs 3 more people and help completing road to spawn for anybody wanting to join a faction. | ||
