Would a Fist of the North Star mod completely defeat the purpose of PVP? One hit KOs...over time. There would be no need for armor or weapons.

I can't join the server for some reason, I try to login and after a long waiting of the downloading terrain phase it times out. Is there anyone else with that same problem and found a way to solve it? please help! :<
I got kind of a complaint because now we are attacking ganked
we came there killed 3 of them and they all logged out and stayed away from their base... now we cant do anything and its really annoying... but its like the biggest pvpers of the servers are pussies
You guys are dumb. We want to fight. If you would have been like yo were coming lets all get geared lets have a pvp fight we would have been ready for a fight.
What you are describing is a raid. You brought 10 people to kill 3 people in our faction. and expect to be able to loot the chests? Get real.
Btw everyone who logged off died in our base. I, sadmadbad, was not even online on the attack so no I did not log off. Just didnt log off with all of you guys around.
I mentioned this in game but here is a long version i can put at once.
Sieging
a faction can spend 4 power to reduce the power of another faction by 1.
the players must be online(so their power can be used to attack with) and present at the land of the defending faction
This action is broadcasted to the server
"Faction A(60/100) is sieging faction B (20/100)"
in this example faction A just spent 40 power to drain faction B 10 power from 30 to 20.
this alerts nearby factions that faction B is being sieged, and that faction A is much weaker now, and vulnerable to counter attack (if they keep up a prolonged siege)
Benefits: no longer can a single man faction become invincible to attack (they currently only need to log off to protect everything ever)
encourages active defense of your land, killing a player removes them from your land removing 15 power that can be used to siege you, (10 power of the player dead and 5 total power loss to faction)
Small factions can use traps/diplomacy in order to avoid raiding, instead of system abuse.
smart tactical decisions to be made by raiding groups, instead of the current, kill everyone and repeat.
Negatives: potentially if only one faction is on they could siege someone for hours with no consequence.

That's not what I said. Your attack was fine, but you cant expect to wipe out our faction just because you managed to kill 3 persons.
Oh I don't. I guess I misunderstood you. The only thing I was bothered by was the fact that PvP is easily dodged by logging out. But, this is true in every game.

Well we should at least get something for our efforts. The previous rounds have been too short for any sustained, long-term faction wars.

From what I've read most of your argument is that your raid gave you no reward. Did you kill completely naked players? If not then their loot is your reward. If you think you deserve their chests, you need to work more for them. You need to bring them to a negative power and claim the land. If this proves too difficult then that is too bad. If one death gave you the ability to loot their chests then it would be pointless trying to collect any loot at all because it would be far too easy.
You clearly did not have a strong victory over them or else you would have killed them several times and brought them into negatives (this if anything ought to be your argument that the maximum power is too high or when you die you lose too little power, but through countless other raids and battles of experience I have come to believe that at the moment the power capacity may be a little too high, but as it is this is more balanced than any previous round and it is still EXTREMELY viable to kill a few people and loot them).
You are not using the current mechanics correctly, you need to kill them once and push them into a corner (or chase them down from the graveyard/wait for them to log back in if they are being cowards) and kill them again and again. As it is, power regen is painfully slow and allows you to kill them a few times over the course of an hour and easily bring them to negative power, then you proceed to claim their land and loot it. If you do not bring them to the negative power, you do not deserve their loot.
tl;dr.. Your argument is that it is too hard (not carebear enough) while the server admins are aiming for a fair balance between being able to defend yourself and loot versus being able to kill others and take their loot. Currently it is for the most part quite balanced and you are just QQing over nothing (except them possibly being cowards which may be your opinion). So man up and kill them more and earn your loot like they and every other successful faction has.
