I feel like a list of mods, links to their pages, as well as a list of specific elements of the faction mode, should be posted to let us know exactly what's going on.
ie) Will other factions be able to open chests (gives raiding viability) or will you not be able to use anything at all. Will enemies be able to open either type of door? Changing anything important like caps on power, power regen, etc?
Oh, and whether or not you can teleport to your faction home in enemy territory/close to an enemy. Makes a big difference if I can run into their land, attack them all, and just teleport back when I get low on hp. The idea you can run into the middle of their land, shoot hundreds of arrows at them, and then just teleport home seems off a bit. ^^

Teleportation at least should be disabled, imo. It kind of defeats the purpose of location and terrain, which are the main features Minecraft offers as a "platform" for this kind of game anyway.

An enemy is considered a player part of a faction that you are at 'war' with.

Well it removes the annoying travel time going to places. Especially long winded mineshafts and stuff. Although disabling it around enemies and in enemy territory would be good to prevent cheap /homes when you're near death.

^^ Correct. Teleport and /home also has a 2 minute cooldown. To prevent exploiting.

The server map is coming along amazingly. Seems like a lot of thought is going into the "balancing" as far as food materials and armor/weapons as well as faction play. I just hope the server can handle the hype its getting!

You all really need to start making factions. Otherwise you won't have any backup in the server from hordes/players.

I think, even if people aren't organized enough to make factions before hand, they'll form pretty quickly on server open and they'll go from there.
Pre-formed would have an advantage ofc, but not too huge of one.

There are a bunch of people who are probably going to go with friends for a while and eventually we will have mergers and alliances. I think right now we are talking about making the faction cap 8 people so that no single faction takes over the world.
