As all the major factions know, the city guard is there to protect the city (within our capacity, we cant be 5 places at once) from the like of murderers and thieves.
Someone specifically needed this spelled out, but most of you know this already. When we can't see you, or if we're not online, YOUR ON YOUR OWN.
Plus I'm not doing anything but laughing if someone hires an assassin and kills you while were online, cause that's just peachy.
Expect incoming rage post from someone who will QQ after learning the hard way killing innocents while the Guard is watching doesn't sit kindly. If your going to slaughter innocent people, please do so in back alleys and houses... and clean the remains after. Oh, and as always, if we don't catch you before you make it to the city gates, you can laugh your way to the bank, as many of you already have lol.
Why do we do this? Because noobs are people too. They need some form of protection against all you ravagers. Thanks.

-City Guard Are city guards in creative mode?

City Guards can cast lightning bolt. And imprison you. Not the greatest idea to fuck with them.

To put it simply, its like morrowind or oblivion. How do you deal with those guards early game? And what happens if you get caught?

Are you implying that there's a way to deal with those guards late game? XD

Battle Report
Today the HQ of Reapers came under attack by a coalition of Loners, SandPeople and Mafia.
After waiting for them to finally min down to us (took you guys long enough btw) we managed to get the jump on them. Mining out the bottom of their own tunnel we forced them onto the TNT we had set up while waiting for them.
Once they TNT took out most of their HP we cleaned up the remaining Forces with very minimal losses.
Edit: Screenshot didn't save apparently if any other Reaper has the SS please post it.
I think we lost 2-3 players and took out 7-9
total loot:
around 7 sets of armour Plenty of wheat 6-7 diamond swords

Update:
Just a note, to increase the fun factor and involvement of the main town, I have started a faction called "Imperial" that are now listed in the faction list. It will server as a starter-faction for new players to the server, before they move on to other more involved factions.
Imperial is strictly set to defend the city at all costs. They will never move out for war, and therefore provide little benefit beyond that as a central hub for all factions in trade, diplomacy etc.
Aside from its relatively unskilled labor and army, it is also led by a wizard who has the ability to cast status ailments onto enemy armies. (Offensive skills such as lightning are OP, will not be used, personal choice).

According to one of my sources, the location of the loners base is approximately (-1072, -783).
The Templar faction provides this free intel (assuming those coordinates are correct) to all factions interested as a thanks to the loners for mutilating our base with a giant "LOL" sign and stealing everything. If the coordinates are incorrect, I apologize for posting them without checking myself personally, but am restrained by other obligations at the moment (such as sleep). Use them for good or evil, I merely offer a location.
Also, how'd you get the faction nameplates to show up in those screenshots? I had no idea there was a way to toggle faction nameplates on.

Pretty sure those coordinates are far too large to exist

Lol, yes those coords are accurate and we welcome some free loot that we DON'T have to look for :D.
And it's called Spoutcraft.
And we only lost 3-4 people in that "raid" and Noobie_One killed 3 or so people : / But yea, I agree it was a very crappy raid, but don't worry the next one will be much better.

Today was a great day for the new faction Paragon. While we observed from the sidelines in Round 1, we're now organized and devoted to establishing a small, elite faction for Round 2, one that will play a role in the wars of the larger factions.
Today, we acquired about 40 diamond and 7-8 stacks of Iron ore; a great start with only 4 people, I'd say. We found a factionless building a very elaborate farm near one of our hidden stashes. I approached him with a kind "hi", but was surprised to see him try to kill me with a stone sword against my diamond sword and iron armor. Needless to say, he was felled, and this aggression convinced me that negotiation was not an option, so as much as I disliked this course of action, we took the farm. (Later, I discussed with the factionless a plan to pay him back for his work despite him trying to kill me; he didn't accept our offer to return the farm, a 1v1 with stone sword and iron armor against another Paragon member, stating that it'd just get claimed by another faction later anway. Thus, we will supply him with some of the bread that his farm yields. Paragon, staying true to our name, is a fair and kind faction).
We've reinforced this farm with a moat and wall, and we plan to stay here for one full crop yield. Tomorrow we'll move out and begin to find land for our great castle (oh, and it will be great - it will rival the castles and strongholds of the largest factions).
Paragon is still looking for allies amongst the large and small factions. If you'd like a strong ally to help you in your conquests and defenses, PM me on TL or ingame.

Were going through what were calling our "patch night". Where we install all the changes/fixes and such.
This time around: -Server reserved slots are setup. -Donations are now accepted. I initially never considered the idea, but many brought up a great point that we could expand the server to something even bigger possibly, or faster. More information on that in the OP. -Spawn being worked on. -Extra weapons mods are being looked into implementation again. -Permissions upgraded. There are now 4 levels: -"Normal" Your average user. -"Regular" Average user that is on TS while playing. -"Donator" Same as above, with reserved slot to join while full, among other cosmetic perks. -"Admin" Obvious.
We're looking through some other minor additons, but since everyone is having so much fun already, I'm taking it easy on the idea of that "if it's not broken, don't fix it".
More updates later.
Server will be going off and on for a bit during the least active time (30ish players).

How can you see faction of player on top of their name?
