I'll be there.
What's the limit on concurrent users for the server going to be?
And i'm not sure what you're planning, but you know those time-lapse vids you can find on youtube of servers? You should definitely do that. It would be interesting to see a castle go up, then fall down as someone else takes it over and destroys it, and such.

Count this guy in. I was considering doing something like this on a server I run for half a dozen people, but this seems waaaaay more fun with more people.
|
Count me in :D I was on earlier today but the server seems to have crashed? Chumza was on with me as well, we were both in Teamspeak when it went down for both of us. Hope it comes back up soon! Was awesome while I was playing there.

I think the server simply lacks an internet connection. It should be up more consistently when irninja moves it.

Ah I see, good to hear. I'll be on later tonight if it's up by then ^_^ Look forward to playing with everyone again!

It's better if you have time to form factions in advance, plan what kind of land you want, what kind of defences, say who's going to do what (someone for wood? someone to get lava? etc) How much of everything you want, how much equipment/food you're gonna store/designate per person. There is a lot you can do if you think about it. ^^

wow never knew it was complex like this. i mean its not rocket science but i always thought that this was a simple building game.

The faction wars is pretty complex and actually im looking forward to just having a straigght race to either tighten up defense or destroy someone else before they can get theirs up, but basically in my thread here. We had our own tree farm and garden for food supply as well as having a few exploring parties for extra resources and such. We also created our own mine.
I think one of the key things to remember is that in a faction everyone has to work and share the profits otherwise it just wont work.

There is an even easier way to win that one - just destroy your own castle.

Oh man, I'm very excited for this server, especially in regards to possibly seeing people forming factions based on BW and SC2 teams. How will oGs fare against CJ Entus? Will the war between SKT1 and KT Rolster tear the entire server apart?

I propose an MSL faction in honor of MSL.
But I would join a T1 one.
