If it was "more duration" I could almost see some of the Firestorm changes being closer to justified. They did give it 29% more base damage, too, though that may just compensate for the monster life buffs. In a dream world they'd just make the gem levels scale fireballs/second, actually. On the plus side, Lightning Trap with 90% more damage and much better Chain hype! Shame you'll miss out on the OP life and mana leech from spells, though. Lightning Trap + Slower Proj + Multitrap + Chain + Lightning Pen is the future, I'm feelin it. | ||

There are 25 random keys per league, if you reach lvl 70 in both leagues, you get a chance in both leagues. So getting top35 is the safe way, but if you can not make it, just make a lvl70 in both leagues, and you are fine. Oh and in HC only chars that are ALIVE are eligible, even if they remain in the ladder once dead. | ||

and i would think flameblast >> arc in selffound. arc is too dependent on good rng (moonsorrow, geofri, good spell wand) to be strong. flameblast just get ignite chance and ele prolif and you are good to go even on shit gear. | ||

Well maybe, but Lightning Tendrils owns shit very fast as well and the switch to Arc is also possible with a mediocre +2 lightning wand with 3 links. | ||
