Wanderlust Boots - 28% Mana Regen (c/o 3 Fusings) Quill Rain! - iLvL 51, 2GLinked, 1B. 58% Proj Speed, +46 Accuracy. Pricechecks on them doods? Quill Rain on high iLvLs is worth a ton, not sure if 51 is enough for 6 sockets though. Enough for 5. @ArchersBane - Pick up an item on your cursor then type /itemlevel. As for sockets, someone posted the findings on it, I'm trying to find it.

Also, is there an easy and fast way to check itemlevel instead of clicking and typing?

Also, is there an easy and fast way to check itemlevel instead of clicking and typing? All the prefixes and suffixes are listed in item data on the official website. You can find which mods can roll on which items from this spreadsheet. I want to say ilvl50 for six sockets on uniques, but I'm not 100% sure and I can't find it listed anywhere to say for sure.

I go towards the ranger start anyways. There's a nice cluster of ele damage, you need the dex, evasion is worthless anyways so you might as well get something out of it, and the attack speed + projectile damage node is over there.

It's quite common. All ele rangers should get IR (as well as that diamond skin node), on the way to Blood magic.

I think I'd rather head up to the shadow area to pick up arcing blows. There's plenty of DEX nodes there as well.

I'm talking about a node in the Shadow area that gives 30% weapon lightning damage. So from here http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgEBBLMUTRVQFm8ZLhpsJIsn7SlPMn426DpSOtg64TwtPQ9GaU3YUFBUSVXGWGNYr18_X6pnvWz2bqpyqXPhd2J4DXq4fLt82X1TffWBb4KbguSHKYjxiq-MdozPj0aQEZuhna6ePKIAplenCKlurKquk7Xytz653cQVxPbGrsbYzLfPZdBH0NDUj9V12t3fv-Qi51LnY-w47w7wH_Iv8kXyzvPd9kj3iP4K We can either head from blood magic around the bottom and pick up golem's blood, armor master, berserking, etc or head over to the shadow area from the middle and pick up much more dexterity along with a bunch of damage passives. Acceleration is comparable to berserking which I feel is the biggest loss (12%+20 DEX versus 15) from heading to shadow instead. I also feel like building more defensive is the way to go so I'd lean towards heading along the bottom though. Certainly an interesting choice to make though that isn't clear cut.

IR is a waste if you're going to pick up that many 10 DEX nodes for no other purpose. You're picking up 110 DEX to get 30% WED and the IR passive. Wasting 11 skillpoints shouldn't be worthwhile.

The other rewards have a huge impact on builds as those stats are rare in the tree. Speed and physical damage... not so much. I think the 12% physical damage is the best if you use bear traps a lot, which are extremely helpful against bosses. Currently I'm running 2-3 bear traps depending on the area, and the difference is roughly 200-300 dps at skill level 16. Plus, if you run LA, it helps the 50% physical to lightning even more. If you look at the skill tree, the only nodes that are better than 12% physical are the rare large 18% physical nodes, while the small common nodes are always 8% or sometimes 4% for bows. 4% bow ias/3% general ias are common in the ranger tree area, and they're all small nodes that are easy to obtain (ditto for cast speed in the witch area).
