@crms: Kripp and crew (the guys at like 84-85) do 66-70 maps atm. 66 are considered fluff by them, 67 are OK, 68 are quality, 69/70 are re rolled a lot for good mods (as far as I can make out).

PvE I play until killing the final boss, PvP for much longer. I mostly agree with your views on PvP having potentially longer legs than PvE. That said, WoW is mainly a pve game and it has lasted for a ridiculous amount of time because they continually add new pve content for players to stomp through. I'm hoping PoE gets big enough so that the devs can regularly release new content much like Blizzard does with WoW.

I believe the dev already explained that % armor doesn't apply to the armor that is converted by IR. IR converts this into 150 armor The 100 base armor becomes 110 armor. Your total armor will be 260

Well time to try to trade my 5L chest for something with similar stats or something. Pretty impossible to get the colors I need on an AR chest, probably will be super easy with AR/EV chest.

Edit: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/42605/filter-account-type/staff Ok here it is. Essentially Final armour = base armour * (1 + %armour) + base evasion * (1 + %armour + %evasion) Also, leather and steel doesn't double-dip.

Essentially from what I can gather If you choose to wear pure-evasion gears, then %evasion and %armor will be equally good. If you choose to wear evasion/armor hybrid, then %armor nodes does more for you than % evasion. This is assuming you have iron reflex in the first place.

That works perfectly for me since I have Body and Soul and eventually I will probably invest in some more armor nodes.

Not really by choice though, I had a friend to duo with but he died at 28. I'm waiting for him to catch up and probably leveling a marauder in the meantime. One question I have for anyone, how bad am I screwing myself over by doing everything solo? I know loot, xp etc. is way better in groups but I don't really want to pub. I'm currently lv40 in act1 cruel, just farming ledge right now until im confident to move forward. You don't really screw yourself over by playing solo. You can progress more safely and faster in a party, but I don't think that is a reason to require it. I find it more fun to know that I soloed the entire game personally. When you start farming maps it is so much more efficient to party that you might want to reconsider this opinion though.
