I definitely did NOT do the quest either as I was questing with my friends from act 1 to 2 and I didn't have it and they did.

You should be able to go to Western Forest and activate the quest item and then get the reward from Bestel if you missed it.

I currently have no one to do maps with, I would love to form some sort of group/team with you guys to run maps since grouping in maps is much better. Let me know if you'd like to do that!

I don't know if it's just the peace of mind that my HC character can still be played on softcore or what but I'm ALL about Hardcore in PoE when I was more about SC in D2/D3. I can't put my finger on it but now all I care about is hardcore and have no desire to play SC whatsoever. Maybe it's because this is the first time I've committed to playing HC and now I'm addicted, not sure but the game play is just way more exciting and rewarding.

Same. When my HC character dies in this game I just delete it and start over. Never rolled a HC character in d2/d3. Just feels like the way the game is supposed to be played.

I'd be interested in joining a map group, but only if people are interested in doing pooled loot. Gonna need another day or two to farm up a bit more though and find a bow ^_^

I'd love you have you in a group! I am down for pooled loot. I have a 30-88 phys damage 21-34 cold, 1.69 aps 4L thicket, if that is better than what you have you can have it. And you have plenty of time, everyone else has to catch up to me lol. I went from low 60's to low 70's over 2 days.. (dunno actual game time). My current goal is to get a 5L EV chest so I'm focused on that a bit more than farming/leveling right now.

Sockets don't matter. I'm mainly looking for a good triple ele roll+aspd. I imagine that would be an upgrade though since it's got that much attack speed, but I was hoping for better ^_^ Prepared to drop 3-4 GCP on a bow.

Yeah, I was annoyed one night so I took 2 thickets from the docks back with me, alch'd em both and that one rolled. The other one wasn't bad but this one was better than it. GL finding a bow!

When I get an ilvl 76 Thicket, I'm going to put a lot into it since all max rolls are covered at that level. And I need to sleep, gnight TL.

What does the node that says "25% chance to avoid interruption while casting" affect? Does this mean just physical hits or also effects including stuns/freeze that stop you when you are in the process of casting? And is it worth the point lol :S
